Main difference between this one and the other timelapses I've shared is mostly using a much smaller brush size and spending more time. Also clip studio's Lens Blur to mimic camera blur on the edges

quick tutorial (?) on blur with soft edges: if you select using lasso, selection pen etc and gaussian blur, the edges of the blur are sharp but if you use an airbrush to mark the areas on a new layer and use it as selection to blur, you can get a soft effect instead

🎥 Zach Cregger’s 'RESIDENT EVIL' movie was shot using the Sony Rialto system. In a new behind the scenes video, the crew explains how Rialto gave them more freedom with the camera. The system separates the lens and sensor from the main camera body and connects them with a cable. This gives the camera operator a much smaller and lighter camera to move around, while keeping the image quality of the main camera. (via: StreamWars)

Thanks to Sharon who directed me to the BBC Lincolnshire report relating to this. The full clip was a balanced one, and over 3 minutes in length. The reporter described Reform UK's Ricard Tice as 'A popular local MP' and 3 out the 4 people who appeared on the clip were supportive'. Interestingly the BBC approached Tice, this was a summary of his response. 'I will not be engaging with the BBC', [smear campaign blur blur blur]. He and went on to say that 'rapists and murderers get more privacy and legal protection than the BBC have afforded me'. Dick's being a bit of a dick isn't he? Clip available on BBCi Player until 6.58pm tonight.

Here's the Geometry Nodes Weighted Normals and Laplacian Blur on something more practical. Comparing quads, triangles, and totally messed up topology on these yoga pants. Again we see that the regular blur gets totally ruined on Triangulated quads. It is actually less bad on the messed up mesh because it is has evenly distributed edges. The Laplacian Blur cleans them all up to about the same end result (except for some issues still on the 3rd mesh due to linear interpolation in the shader.)

I've been making music videos and commercials for over a decade. This video is the first time I was able to mimic my camera style with ai.

This is the Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max, paired with an external camera. It is important to emphasize that this is a true “external camera,” not a traditional external lens or telephoto attachment. The external camera itself features an independent 1-inch sensor, with up to 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. In other words, from the sensor to the lens, it is a complete and independent imaging system in its own right. It is also very simple to use. Just attach it to the camera area of the Mate 90 Pro Max, and you can control the external camera directly through the phone’s screen, operating system, and camera software. In this setup, the phone’s own camera does not participate in image capture. The camera area mainly serves to secure and connect the external camera. The actual photography is handled by the external camera’s own 1-inch sensor and 24mm-to-240mm lens. This is also the biggest difference between it and traditional smartphone telephoto attachments. Traditional telephoto attachments still rely on the phone’s original camera to capture images, whereas this solution adds a complete, independent camera system to the phone. In a sense, you can think of the Mate 90 Pro Max as the external camera’s display, operating system, and computing platform. In theory, this external camera could also be used with other phones, as long as it is securely mounted and properly adapted through the appropriate connection method.
