Donald Trump now wants a quick exit from the war in Iran, which he may think is feasible considering the 2 minute highlight reel briefings he’s been getting. We still have a moving set of goals and even Republican lawmakers are calling the administration out for the lack of transparency. No one should be surprised that support for the war is falling in every single poll.

Democrats could have run on a populist anti-war platform that has overwhelming public support in the US. They could have explicitly said that if elected, they would make sure not to launch a war on Iran. Instead they said the single greatest threat to the US is Iran, and repeated the same Zionist Trump propaganda to launch the war: "Iran must not be allowed to have nuclear weapons". And now virtually the entire Democratic Party, from Schumer to Jeffries, are fully behind the war, with Bernie Sanders and AOCIA doing their typical performative bullshit to also launder it with their "Netanyahu's war" and zero attempt to actually mass mobilize against it, and only Rashida Tlaib being explicitly opposed to it.

Harry Enten: Donald Trump has never been more unpopular in his second term in office. This is Trump's disapproval rating. Fox News poll. You go back a year ago, he was at 51% up like a rocket now…his disapproval rating 59%. It is not just the Fox News poll where Donald Trump is at all time highs in terms of his disapproval ratings, all time lows in terms of his approval rating, it is in the polling aggregate as well. It has been poll after poll after poll in which he's either at or near an all time high in terms of his disapproval rating. What about the war in Iran? How do Americans feel that Trump is handling that? Well, they don't like what's cooking. Trump's disapproval rating on Iran. You see it right here. It is 64%. Only a little bit more than a third of Americans, according to Fox News, actually approve of the job that Donald Trump is doing in Iran. The Fox News poll was one of the rare polls in which we had an even split early on in the war in terms of support and opposition. And now that support has plummeted. The opposition is up. It is very clear, no matter which poll you look at, that the American people are not with Donald Trump when it comes to Iran even if the MAGA base is.

So much about the war on Iran that we've heard from Labor and the war parties is pure doublespeak. They claim to want to save Iran from oppression - but they cheer the bombing of the Iranian people. Australians oppose this war, and we oppose Labor's choice to drag us into it.

Not a single one of Trump’s (ever changing) war goals is close to being achieved. Iran still has the majority of their missiles and drones. They still have a nuclear program. They are more powerful globally today than before the war. An utter disaster.

US President Trump said if he had to rate the progress of his war on Iran from one to ten, he would give it a fifteen although a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll found that only about one in four Americans say they support the joint US-Israeli offensive.

WATCH: MS NOW’s Nicolle Wallace gushes over Joe Kent’s resignation letter from the Trump administration as the kind of thing that will be written about in history books... Wallace: “Tom Nichols, Mr. Kent writing this sort of sentence, that’ll — that’ll live on forever in the history of this chapter is written and the chapter on the war in Iran is written. I believe the sentence will be there: ‘I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.’ So writes the first senior national security official to depart Donald Trump’s isolationist political coalition in the aftermath of the of the Iran war being launched.” Nichols: “Well, the truest part of that was Kent saying that there was no imminent threat from Iran. There was nothing. There was no forcing function behind this war. It’s not like we knew that they were days or weeks or months from a nuclear bomb, although now that is the talking point the President seems to be holding on to for dear life. Just today, he talked about if it had, but not for me, there would have been a nuclear holocaust.”

This is not a war between Israel and the Iranian people. It’s a war between Israel and the terror regime that has hijacked their country. Iran—the head of the snake—has spent decades calling for Israel’s destruction, arming terror proxies, and hiding behind them. Now, the war they fought in the shadows is out in the open. Israel had no choice. The UN nuclear watchdog confirmed Iran has the capacity for 15 atomic bombs. That’s not just a threat to Israel—it’s a threat to the world.

Did Israel just detonate one of their own nukes so that they can blame it on Iran and attempt to restart the war to distract you from the fact that Thomas Massey is about to win his primary in a landslide victory?

The Israeli have panicked after the Resistance Axis's statement of full support for Iran. A correspondent from the Israeli TV channel Channel 12 stated: "Iran is mobilizing the Shiite axis as if there is a single operational headquarters under the command of the 'Quds Force'. In the event of a US strike, they intend to expand the war to a regional scale." Analysts agree that this time Iran's response will be completely different. Any attack from the US - even a symbolic one - will meet a tough and decisive response from Iran.

Jonathan Schanzer of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) is frustrated that the rules-based order the US built after World War II (explicitly designed to prevent another catastrophic war) is restraining the US from inflicting catastrophic nuclear punishment on Iran, the way the US did to Japan. FDD is the Israel-aligned advocacy group that Joe Kent identified as having heavily lobbied the Trump administration to initiate war with Iran. Now, it appears they are lobbying for war crimes.
