Over the past few days, Ukraine has been facing one of the most significant political crises since the beginning of the full-scale war. Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov was dismissed. According to Fedorov himself, he had serious disagreements with the military leadership over reforming the Ministry of Defense, defense procurement, and the future development of the Armed Forces. His dismissal has sparked widespread public outrage, protests, and intense debate across Ukraine. But the biggest problem is not only the personnel decision itself. The biggest problem is the complete lack of open dialogue with society. There has been no proper conversation with the public, no clear answers to the questions that concern hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians, and no understandable explanation of why this decision was made or what the plan is going forward. And we still have none. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians publicly support Mykhailo Fedorov. Tens of thousands are taking part in peaceful demonstrations, while millions are expressing their position online. We want the international community to see the scale of this public reaction. We are not asking foreign governments to interfere in Ukraine’s internal affairs or make personnel decisions for us. We are appealing to international journalists, newsrooms, analysts, experts, human rights advocates, and everyone who cares: please help bring attention to this situation. Tell your audience about it, request comments from Ukrainian officials, and ask questions about the reasons behind these decisions, the future of defense reforms, and the absence of open dialogue with society. Please help ensure that this issue does not disappear from the public agenda without answers. We do not need foreign interference. We need attention, transparency, accountability, and an honest conversation between the Ukrainian government and Ukrainian society. Please share this post. Slowly but surely, people are converging at the convention point, drawn by the powerful momentum of this movement. As the sun breaks through the clouds, the crowd swells with each passing minute. The anticipation in the air is palpable, a mix of hope and determination. It’s as if the very soul of this city has united in this crucial moment. On the periphery, stand the police, deployed strategically in vantage points and waiting areas. They will soon form a line that could either resist or protect the protesters. The tension is undeniable, a reminder of the delicate balance between peaceful demonstration and maintaining order. It’s a scene that encapsulates the complexity of this movement—a collision of rights and responsibilities, a dance between those demanding change and those tasked with enforcing the law. As much as possible I’ll be updating y’all as usual on this X tree via the quotes. It wouldn’t be a lot due to the management of volunteer group, so bear with me.
