🥹❤️ San Antonio Spurs player Harrison Barnes and his wife Brittany Barnes personally purchased $40,000 in H-E-B gift cards to surprise the first 100–200 families at an H-E-B on San Antonio's Eastside. At checkout, each family had their groceries fully covered and received an additional $200–$400 H-E-B gift card to help with holiday food expenses. Barnes wasn't the only Spurs player supporting the community recently. De’Aaron Fox and his family hosted a holiday giveback for families from Harlandale ISD, distributing turkeys and non-perishable essentials. Devin Vassell also had a special holiday sit-down meal with young athletes from the Eastside Clubhouse Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio. 🩶🖤 Courtesy of the San Antonio Spurs

"I'm expecting Devin Vassell to play well for the San Antonio Spurs and Harrison Barnes has a lot of experience.. When you look at the way this Spurs team plays this is a series for Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby" Iman. #PMSLive

Incredible display of community commitment from the Blackburn Rovers academy players this evening as they devoted their time and energy to support the homeless in Blackburn with Darwen Council. Their efforts exemplify the positive impact sports can have beyond the field. Well done to these young athletes for making a meaningful difference in their community! 👏⚽

In just a few hours, we’re making an announcement that will help San Diegans for decades to come. Foreign investors have been outbidding local families and driving up home prices. It’s time to put San Diegans first. This morning, I’ll unveil a proposal to prioritize local homeownership over foreign investment—because the American Dream should belong to the people who live here, work here, and raise their families here.

Having a sister with special needs and growing up around and coaching Special Olympics athletes, I know firsthand just how much a night like this means to these athletes and their families. Kudos to Alex Golesh for bringing Victory Day to Auburn. It’s an incredible opportunity for AU players to understand who they’re playing for and why staying connected to the community matters.
