Nice 😯 Have you tried adding more samples when dropping a pile of plates to simulate a chain reaction of the plate's collisions from the dropping pile?

That's a interesting looking recorder, what is it? I have a tiny little sony pcm a10, but it was an odd way of adjusting gain.

do u think randomizing the pitch a bit would give more variety to the sounds or just ruin it?

I always do the regular unreal modulator params which are randomizing between 0.95 and 1.05! I also change the pitch depending on the objects' mass. What's really cool is that when I attach the plates, their mass gets automatically additioned and the pitch evolves accordingly!
