BREAKING: New York City has secured a RECORD $131.5 MILLION settlement from DoorDash after investigators found the company underpaid more than 260,000 delivery workers. City investigators analyzed 152 million payments and 110 million hours of work, finding DoorDash excluded some canceled trips, cross-city trips and other compensable time when calculating worker pay. More than $115 million will go directly to workers. His entire fortune was made off the mass exploitation of labor and the mass extraction of resources that belong to the community. Workers make the economy run, which is why workers should own the means of production.

The safety of workers is critical and so are the facts. There’s been a lot said about the CFMEU and Victorian workers this week. We stand firmly for workers’ rights. For fair pay, safe workplaces, and secure conditions. No one should fear having their wages cut or their hard-earned entitlements clawed back. And we can’t let this serious issue be the subject of untested and unfounded information. Victorians deserve honesty and workers deserve protection, not political games and the deep desire of the Liberals to claw back workers pay and conditions.
