Mammothon App Breakdown #2: wearelazydev @wearelazydev is a developer bounty app that aims to change the way developers are rewarded for their contributions to open-source projects. It does this by leveraging zkTLS, or “Zero-Knowledge Transport Layer Security”, which allows users to bring sensitive web2 data, such as credit scores... or Github details, while maintaining privacy. Here’s a simple breakdown of zkTLS, by nairolf: So how does wearelazydev work? 1️⃣ Alice creates a bounty on the app for a new feature she wants in her open-source game. She sets a due date & reward (paid in LAZY tokens). 2️⃣ Bob sees the bounty on the app & decides to complete it. He writes the code & submits a pull request (PR) on GitHub. (in other words, he asks Alice to check his work) 3️⃣ Alice then reviews Bob’s work (pull request), and has two choices: ❌ Reject it → Bob gets nothing ✅ Merges it → Code accepted & added to main project 4️⃣ Once Bob’s work is merged, zkTLS generates a proof, which confirms that Alice did merge Bob’s work into her project. 5️⃣ The proof is then verified, and if valid, Bob’s reward is instantly claimable, without having to rely on some third party to release the reward, or without Bob having to go through some intricate process. I should note that zkTLS in this context is also used to verify that it was really Bob's Github account that did the work. This also means that Bob’s data remains private, and does not risk any data exposure. He just connects his wallet, completes the coding task, and earns rewards. & in terms of onboarding, a user would need a traditional web3 wallet, although there are various options, including Metamask, SubWallet, Phantom, Rainbow, Keplr, & Backpack. From Dan Lorenc on the malware attack that almost took down the entire internet last year: “There’s a popular compression library that’s used in almost every piece of software. And it had been maintained by one person in his spare time for the last 20 years. And then a couple years ago, somebody just decided to start helping him. They jumped in, fixed a bunch of bugs, and did a lot of great work. And then that first person got tired of working on it. So he handed the whole project over to this other person. It turned out that other person was just a pseudonym and was not a real person. And within six months of getting control of the project, they had put in a carefully orchestrated set of malware that was really hard to detect and no one noticed. And because it was so widely used, the exploit would've basically given that person remote access to any computer running that piece of software, which was basically everything connected to the Internet. But because it was open source and the code was transparent, some random engineer just happened to be running some benchmarks on a weekend. And he noticed that program was a little bit slower than it used to be, and that it was making a weird cryptographic operation to check something. And right before this thing got widely deployed across every device, he dug in, and discovered that there was a backdoor put in. This was the closest thing to a full-blown internet crisis that we’ve ever had. And they still have no idea who did it. It was just an anonymous email account. No one ever traced it back to an individual. And that's the long game. This person spent years just doing good work and earning the communities trust.”

Voting on fees using your LP tokens is limited to the 8 biggest LP holders. For auctions, the discount gets you close to 0% but not effectively 0%. The math example couldn’t exist in reality based on G3M. It is just an example to explain the process. ************* Imagine a robot (AMM) that's always ready to help you trade your money (assets) with others on a special online platform (the XRP Ledger's decentralised exchange). This robot doesn’t need to find someone else to take the other side of your trade; it just makes the trade happen using a big pot of money (pool) it manages. How Does it Work? Trading: You can swap one type of money (asset) for another anytime you want, using the robot’s pot of money. The robot uses a special formula to decide the swap rate. Creating a Pool: Anyone can create a new pot of money for two different types of assets if it doesn’t exist yet, or add to an existing one. Rewards for Pool Creators: People who add money to the pot (liquidity providers) get special tokens (LP Tokens) as a thank-you. These tokens can be used to: • Get a share of the money in the pot back, along with some extra (fees collected). • Have a say in changing the robot’s settings, like trading fees. • Bid to get a temporary discount on trading fees. For context, Google's MCP Toolbox for Databases is an open-source server that lets AI agents securely query structured databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL through the MCP protocol However, most enterprise knowledge doesn't actually live in databases. It's scattered across emails, Slack threads, GitHub repos, Salesforce records, customer reviews, and internal docs. So Agents can't see any of it, which means they're working with a fraction of the context they need. I fixed that using MindsDB. It acts as a universal SQL layer that sits on top of all your data sources: structured, semi-structured, and unstructured. This means you can query Salesforce, Gmail, GitHub, S3 files, Jira, and 200+ more sources using SQL syntax. The clever part is how it connects to the MCP Toolbox. MindsDB exposes everything through MySQL, so from the Agent's perspective, it's just running SQL and getting context back. It doesn't know or care that the data came from five different sources behind the scenes. This setup unlocks some powerful capabilities: → One SQL interface for dozens of enterprise sources → Cross-datasource joins (combine GitHub and CRM data in a single query) → Built-in ML capabilities for working with unstructured data → Simple MCP tools that now have massively expanded reach In the video below, the Agent queries GitHub data and a customer review database in one SQL query. So what used to require ETL pipelines and weeks of engineering effort now happens instantly. At the end of the day, AI agents are only as useful as the data they can access. This customer signed a contract for some concrete work. He’s concerned because a friend told him that the job the contractor did could not be good because they got it done so quickly and is now refusing to pay the full amount, only $600 now and will pay the rest once the concrete cures and he sees it’s ok. I see this from both sides however I think he should pay the amount he agreed on. Most contractors warranty their work. If anything was to happen afterwords then I would expect them to come fix it. I wouldn’t without someone’s livelihood because of that. I understand that with any job there is a risk involved. Most of the time the work is done to my liking and there is no issues. On those rare occasions that things happen then I must trust that the contractor will do the right thing based on the contract we both signed. This principle applies to everything we encounter in life from cars to appliances we buy. I think the warranty is what protects us from faulty or defective services or products. I wouldn’t be surprised if the contractor files a lien on his home, I would expect that to happen. The homeowner should just do the right thing and fulfill his end of the bargain by paying for what he agreed upon.

These adorable twins are closely aligned in development, but one has begun taking independent steps, while his sister is right on the cusp - and remains a cruiser. So what does she do? Sol is the first model I’ve trusted to run whole loops of knowledge work—not just help with individual tasks. I use it to process email, surface decisions from meetings and Slack, find job candidates, scan Facebook Marketplace for furniture, and log my meals. It has shifted my job from doing the work to tending the system that does it. - The merged app is fine. I was extremely worried about this because I love the Codex app. OpenAI was caught in an interesting position: How to make an agent orchestration app for regular ChatGPT consumers, coders, and businesses all in one app. They now split the interface between ChatGPT Work and ChatGPT Codex. They're basically the same except Work hides code. And "Chat" has been demoted to 2nd tier status for quick questions in either one. It's not a big leap, but it's not a huge setback either. And it remains my favorite of the desktop agent orchestration apps. Verdict: If I really had to put my finger on it, I'd say Fable has way more big model smell. But that means it's a skill in itself to get value out of it—99% of people are still not there yet. GPT-5.6 is almost as powerful, but is easy to use, fast, and relatively cheap.
