Man captures the aftermath just moments after a drunk driver crashes into a tree in Edmonton. “Unnamed driver and passenger, passed out behind the wheel of this black Yukon, slept through multiple green lights until I knocked on the window—loudly, for a while—before they woke up. Upon seeing over... half a dozen upset people looking at them and asking them to get out of the car, the driver decided to bolt. Heading down Rabbit Hill Road, he made it less than 200 metres before hitting the first tree, careening back into the street, and overcorrecting into a second tree head-on. EMS were first on scene, and despite airbag deployments, there were no reported injuries. Fire was second on scene, followed by EPS. Tihron Harrison started punching the bus driver after the driver refused to let him off at a random intersection. As the men were fighting, the bus continued down the road and eventually crashed into a building. Harrison tried fleeing the scene but was caught by police and arrested.
