Man, I hate EA... This is why always online games are anti-consumer. Gamers should be able to play what they bought whenever they want. People spent years of their lives developing Anthem (not to mention the massive toll the project took on Bioware) and players spent money on it.... show more

Tom Holland reveals he spent ages reading fans' complaints online before agreeing to return for Spider-Man 4 "I've always felt a great sense of responsibility when it comes to the fans of Spider-Man." "I felt so lucky to have had the experience I had on the third Spider-Man movie. I got to share the screen with Tobey and Andrew, and it really felt like the kind of perfect signing off for me." "So for me to come back and do it again, I really wanted to make sure that what we did was exactly what the fans wanted." "I spent ages online just watching podcasts, looking at what people wanted, and what they didn't like. There's a lot of what they don't like."

🚨 NOW: Sec. Marco Rubio says it PERFECTLY "It's a country run by radical clerics! [...] Iran is a rich country. Iran can be the RICHEST country in the Middle East if they want it to be! But instead, they take their money and they use it and they give it to Hezbollah, they give it to Hamas, they give it to the Houthis, they give it to Shia militias, they give it to sponsored terrorism all over the world, they give it to try to kill people all over the world, they build drones and missiles and pursue a nuclear weapons program." "THAT'S what they spent their money on. If they had spent their money on their people and on their economy, today, Iran could be probably the RICHEST country in the region if you want to know the truth." 🇺🇸🇮🇷

$Marco Rubio on Iran: Their economy is a disaster. It was a disaster before all of this, right? Every penny they get, they don’t spend it on the Iranian people. They don’t spend that money on their country. They use that money to fund Hezbollah and Hamas and terrorist organizations and militias in Iraq to threaten us and threaten the world. If they spent a fraction, just half the money that they’re spending on these militias, or they spent it on their own people, the Iranian people would be better off.$

Running this page has opened my eyes to how many racists who hate white people we have living amongst us. It’s disgusting. I see on a daily basis, people in the comments banging on about slavery and colonialism. They don’t realise the luckiest day of their lives was being born in a western democracy. They have lived a life of privilege but like to be a victim. They are angry with white people moving into black countries hundreds of years ago. But perfectly fine with black people moving to white countries in the present day. They call it immigration when it’s them. They are in support of people being able to live wherever they want. Just not when it’s white people. That’s colonialism and it’s evil. They don’t realise they are everything that they hate the colonisers for. They take all the benefits of being here. But still hate us for it. They use history and things that didn’t happen to them as a scapegoat to be openly hateful towards us. In their own mind it justifies their racism so they can still hold the self righteous belief they are a good person. But when I see people like this. It restores my faith in immigration. It’s good to know that this can sometimes be the outcome. Not everyone is selfish and only care about their own race. There are plenty of people who care about us too. Plenty of people see it for what it is and stand by our side and I have nothing but respect for them. I wish everyone was like that. Thank you to this man for speaking out for us and showing common sense. Because when we say this, they call is far right racists and fascists. But in reality we are only human just like anyone else. Only we are taught to just accept this and eat shit and be happy. It’s double standards and this man is bang on it 👏👏

Show me anything like this from our Country. Our Government & politicians have destroyed Canadian culture, our spirit, our passion of what it means to even be Canadian. All we hear from them is how “inclusive” we are, that is not an identity. Canada Day came and went & our media spent more time talking about the weather. They want us to hate the U.S. because they don’t want us to know how incredible we could have it if we weren’t held back by the nanny state who are hell bent on controlling every single aspect of our lives.

Might of found a way to use this mechanic in comp. I've seen people do this on the floor a couple times but not really on the wall in this way. I do think this could be used in comp because of the sharp change in trajectory of the ball and it could seriously bait out players. Not to mention it can be done on any part of the wall so even off the ceiling. I'm already getting fairly consistent at it on one side and I've practiced it for a day. It feels like doing the breezi flick for the first time but this could be a more practical mechanic. If it can be done on command consistently it has ridiculous potential for passes and other stuff Not saying this is a new mechanic btw nor is it guaranteed to become meta but I love the idea of seeing innovation and new things in the game because there isn't much of it these days so I hope people aren't closed minded about it. Would love to hear opinions on it

"My feeling is this. I'm not pro-immigration. I'm not anti-immigration. What I want is for people who are not corrupt, who are well-informed about the issue, to figure out what the best level of immigration is and to set up a process that works. I don't want to see any illegals. I want to see people who come in legally. I want to see the number. Maybe it's a high number. Maybe it's a low number. I don't know, but I'd like to see the right number. I'd like us to at least aspire to it. And then most important of all, and I see this in both England and the US, somewhere along the line, we apparently decided it was impolite to ask people who wished to come to our countries, whether they liked us and aspired to be a part of our civilization. And my feeling is whatever the number is that we should be allowing in, I don't want any who don't aspire to be American. I want people who like it, who want to make the place better and want to participate in it because they see it as good. We should not be letting people in who want to destroy it. Obviously, I can't imagine that anyone has to say that out loud, but apparently it has to be said out loud because it's not obvious to a lot of people. And the point is, it is what I just said anti-immigrant? No, it's anti-people who hate us. And I have a right to be anti-people who hate us..." - Bret Weinstein on immigration, with Carl Benjamin 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

SCORE MORE POINTS? I feel like during the recruiting process players and parents feel this immense pressure to score points bc they know that the more points they score the better chance they have to be seen. Scoring will increase your chance of being seen/talked about. That is a fact. But how you go about it will ultimately decide your future. Sadly, too many players and parents are pushing the scoring aspect and it makes the player play selfish basketball. If you out scoring ahead of winning and doing the things necessary to win (guarding, passing, rebounding, etc.), it doesn’t matter how many points you score. Selfish players eventually end up on selfish teams or sitting the bench on good teams. Lock in, play the right way, play hard, score the crap out of it, and you’ll be good.

ELON: THE PEOPLE SHOULD DECIDE WHAT'S IMPORTANT, NOT A HANDFUL OF EDITORS "I don't think there should be a gatekeeping function by a small number of individuals. For newspapers in America, there are about five editors that decide what gets put on the front page, or what to focus on, or what not to focus on. And most of the other papers just copy them, essentially. But is that really what we want? Do we want a handful of people deciding what they think is important? Or should it be the people who decide what's important? And I think it should be sort of an organic thing, where the people decide what's important and what to focus on, not just a handful of editors. They don't like the fact that this power has been taken away from them. But I think it should be." Source: European Jewish Association, January 2024

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif: Israel would want this conflict to continue and for everyone to be drained by it, because they are not even bearing the cost of this war. The money being spent on their war is coming from overseas. In fact, by the end of the day, I think they may actually have profited from it. Not a penny of their own has been spent, while countless people — hundreds of thousands of people — have fallen victim to their madness.

🚨 THEY’RE NOT OURS. Marco Rubio just said it straight: “I don’t know what it is, but there are things flying over our military installations… and they are not ours. We should look into this.” Congressman Tim Burchett has been screaming this for years: “I’ve been harping on this for years. Myself and Anna Paulina Luna have been doing a great job with it… and a lot of Congress just turns their back to it. The reality is we are spending millions if not billions of dollars on research into something. It’s not about little green men or flying saucers. What are we spending that money on? He’s exactly right. There are things flying over our military bases. I wish America could see what I have seen and hear it from the people I have… and I think they would have a different thought on this whole process.” This isn’t a conspiracy theory. This is national security. The American people deserve answers!

Penguinz0 just reemphasized what I, and many other people have been saying as to why Expedition 33 is important—why it can set that example for other games in the future. The “it’s great but you’re glazing it” Yes bro. Yes. Of course I’m going to glaze a great game that thinks of the players, respects their time and money, and puts passion above all else. Of course.

Turning 38 tomorrow. It took me almost 9 years to capture a video with 20 players like this without the game freezing, a server error or some stupid issue ruining the moment. I spent so long building the game engine on top of #threejs that I forgot what it feels like to be a real player and made plenty of mistakes that made old players sad. Sorry for that.. Matches now go from 16 to 32 players and bots are a little smarter. It’s finally fun to play again. I’ll be transferring all that hard work, 3D and 2D effects, ready effects and knowledge into Jade Slade, where you’ll be able to create games like this with just a few prompts. #gamedev #indiedev #indiegames

Roy Hattersley's plea to Gordon Brown on the eve of the 2000 budget: 'So this is my message to Gordon Brown. You've got money to spend as a result of 2.5 years of prudence. If you use it to cut taxes, particularly for the well off, that would be a betrayal of all you and I stand for. There are people out there who need it. They need it spent on their hospitals, need it spent on their schools, need it spent on their pensions. That's what you ought to do tomorrow. Not simply to keep a promise, but to keep faith with all that the Labour Party stands for'.

American roads owned by foreign countries should be illegal. We’ve been sold out for decades Texas Toll Roads owned by a company named Cintra, HQ in Spain “Cintra bought their way into the governor's office back in 2005 — They lobbied to be able to own this toll road. The road itself opened in 2012, and Cintra will own it until 2062” “They like to claim that they footed the bill for the road, but in reality, they got this $430,000,000 federal loan, and then they even use the state's tax money for all the marketing and PR for it.” So you paid to build the road and now you have to pay to drive on it…. Guess how many other states this is happening in?
