Stalker 2 is easily one of the most UNFORGIVING open worlds ever made. It's a hardcore game that treats you like an adult by not holding your hands and letting the Zone absolutely crush you if you're not prepared. There is still some jank but the oppressive atmosphere, the survival mechanics, combat, and the visuals are so PEAK you'll overlook every flaw.

The parkour in Dying Light The Beast is everything I ever wanted... Detailed environments, tons of paths and risk/reward elements in both urban & natural areas! Techland has massively improved on DL2's parkour and imo DLTB easily has the BEST parkour experience in recent games.

Shadows x Atack on Titan collab made me appreciate how good AC crossovers used to be. For instance, AC Origins x FFXV event was incredibly controversial back in the day, but looking back at it now, the reward, cutscenes, animations, and voice acting all feel amazing...

Man, I hate EA... This is why always online games are anti-consumer. Gamers should be able to play what they bought whenever they want. People spent years of their lives developing Anthem (not to mention the massive toll the project took on Bioware) and players spent money on it. Anthem wasn't perfect by any means, tho it had a few redeeming features like great visuals, the flying mechanic, and that incredible Sarah Schachner score. But it makes me worry about how many other games could just disappear like this...

I genuinely can't believe Assassin's Creed Syndicate is almost 11 years old... The visuals still hold up pretty well and London's atmosphere is just incredible. The city itself feels denser and more alive than some of the more recent open world games... Ubisoft's artists, man... they always deliver 🔥
