This young lady put in for PTO for a vacation and the manager she’s speaking with her on the phone preapproved it, so the young lady booked her trip, paid for everything and as she’s getting ready to close out her existing work and head off for vacation the manager “revokes” her vacation, her employee has $3000 invested in and the managers explanation is “I’m allowed to change my mind” and further expounds that she “shouldn’t have gotten” insurance on the trip.🙄 Her only recourse is to take it to human relations which will most likely decide in her favor audience which will further enflame the relationship with the manager, how do you deal with people like that ?

This woman returned her U-Haul truck in Spokane Valley, Washington. The manager there was giving her an attitude and a rough time. She told the woman that she had to clean out the back so the woman swept out the back, which is customary, and the manager said she didn’t sweep it out. 🤯 The cardboard was U-Haul’s own sun visor. The woman asked for some rags and said she would clean the inside cab as the manger looked at it as if it were dirty. She told the manager she didn’t want to get charged the extra money for a cleaning fee and the manager closed the door in her face.😳 Since when did customer’s have to detail the inside of the cab when returning a U-Haul truck? And the back looks fine to me. What is with the poor customer service? If you hate your job, why work there? Would you detail the inside cab of the truck? This lady ordered her food through DoorDash and when the order is placed the food is prepped for the driver, however the driver took 25 minutes to pick up the food and when she received it it was cold so she took it back to Wendy’s for a replacement and the manager agreed and was going to fix it for her until she started knocking on the counter demanding extra food for her trouble to come back, the manager took exception to her behavior and threw the food in the trash and told her to take it up with DoorDash, after all it was DoorDash’s mistake and they do have remedies for this type of thing, he was just being accommodating, when this didn’t work out for her she snatched another customer’s food and took off out the door.

She called the employee she gave the card to and they admitted to it immediately. She felt that when the boss told her to get a work bag for supplies, it meant she was given permission to buy whatever she wanted. Since the employee was given permission to use the card for a work bag but did not specify a spending limit, is this really the employees fault at this point?

She told him to clean the lobby and she said it took him two hours, which was way too long. She said he was on his phone and another manager and herself both told him to get off his phone. She asked him “are you done?” And he told her “don’t talk to me like that.” 😳 She goes and tells the security guard to escort him out. This gentleman went to get his oil changed at a quick oil change location and was refused due to his car leaking coolant. He then gets loud, claiming that the worker isn’t doing his job, and refuses to leave. He actually even ended up calling corporate to report the manager for not working on the car with a coolant leak. Should the manager have explained it better, it doesn’t seem like he understood why the manager refused?

Nita Sutherland went to Wingstop in Lorton, Virginia to buy a meal for her 7-year-old grandson. Instead of her name on the receipt, she allegedly found a racial slur. When she called for the manager, she was told the employee did not mean anything by it. Our queens should never have to explain why that is unacceptable. We are glad the employee was terminated but dismissing her concerns in that moment was wrong. Sensitivity training is a start but our communities deserve better than an apology after the fact.
