how are you getting sine waves in Ae??? ive tried so hard to figure this out on my own and even tried that super expensive plugin and wasnt even that happy with it :/

Pick one path to generate the waveform, and use a second path to control where and how the waveform appears. What really surprised me is how responsive it is. Many people don't know this, but poiyomi has global masks that can be used anywhere in the shader. You can save performance by reusing one mask or using an effect as a mask. In this example, I'm using a decal as a mask for a skybox.
