PSVR2 is definitely a platform we're excited to get more games ported to through our official @flat2vrstudios . But it won't be through mods. Sony doesn't allow modding (how we're porting games like this to VR), so we're working with the studios to officially port games. If you want to see a specific game get an official PSVR2 port, contact your favorite studios and have them reach out to us!

Zelda BOTW VR Mod Releasing In 2 Days! 5 years ago, Crementif began doing the “impossible”. Trying to port one of the greatest games of all time into full 6DOF VR with motion controls. But being a Wii U game, this was an entirely different kind of challenge. Through way too many sleepless nights, Crementif stayed with it, and is finally releasing his mod free and open source in 2 days! Here’s just a few of the features: - Full stereo-rendering with 6DOF (not AER). - Full VRIK, hands and arms support. You can drip yourself out in all the fanciest clothes. - Fully and physically wield weapons, torches and bokoblin arms into combat. - Gestures to equip and throw weapons. - Use motion controls to interact with the world to solve puzzles or start fires. - Optional third-person mode. - Large mod compatibility. Holy shit IT WORKS!! One shotted with GPT6 Astra I now have a fork of UEVR where I can play any UE game within a volumetric window! This actually renders the game in 3D - meaning, two real game cameras, not some depth map bullshit. Everything looks right This is an alternative (and more comfortable IMO) way to play most 2D->VR hacked games as there’s no motion sickness, and no need to redesign the UI and interaction systems Needs a lot more polish before I publish it but OMG IT WORKS!

30 years ago, this wonderful strategy gem came along. It was one of the first games we played via LAN. Lords of the Realm II, or simply Lords II (Impressions Games, 1996). The mix of managing resources and building your little empire with battles and sieges was really well done. I know the game looks dated today, but the core principles still hold up. Slow-paced, we usually played it in the later hours when reflexes and reaction times for classic shooters like Duke Nukem 3D or Counter-Strike were dwindling. Lords II was perfect for chilled, laid-back gaming sessions. The turn-based part involved growing crops, collecting taxes, crafting weapons for your armies, building customizable castles, and keeping your people happy. The battles themselves were real-time and could take quite a while. I always thought Lords II would be a perfect candidate for a modern remake.

My thoughts on the whole Norwegian journalist thing Europeans, especially northern Europeans, are rude (by our standards) We Indians are taught to be humble. Stuck in the concept of "atithi devo bhava." We cannot imagine being rude to a guest like that. Europeans know this, and they shamelessly exploit this cultural advantage over us. This reminds me of something Harsha Bhogle said about the famous 2002 Natwest final at Lords in England "We have always harbored notions of telling people ... get stuffed yourself, but we never did it. We were a great talking nation. We weren't a great doing nation. And when Saurav came along and he actually took that shirt off, people said ah...someone's actually done it." It's the same situation with foreign media and India today. Like it was with cricket in 2002. We get angry and seethe online, but face to face, Europeans know we would never talk to them like that. Someone in Indian media has to do to them what they do to us. Someone has to do the equivalent of what Saurav Ganguly did at the Lords balcony in 2002. This rudeness cannot be taught. It cannot be scripted. It cannot be planned. It has to come spontaneously. Go make a cartoon of the Norwegian PM serving drinks on Epstein's island. But be sure to put it in the middle page of the newspaper. Because you know, it's tiny Norway, not worth being on our front pages.

My Command & Conquer: Generals VR Mod für Steam Frame Quest 3 / 3S is progressing very good so far! Playing it in tabletop is huge fun! Cracked again some nuts and integrated technics to adopt the original controls and tactics-possibilities as good as possible. Currently working on local Multiplayer Quest PC. I guess this will take some time to solve. I am still optimistic to release a first version until the weekend, I guess without Multiplayer first. But let‘s see what works in the next hours 😊

Status update: it's day 7 of our Xinjiang RV roadtrip and we're arriving in Khorgos, a city right on the border with Kazakhstan. And in fact we'll go to Kazakhstan later this afternoon. You can see a video of us arriving in the city 👇- it's a tier-4 city with less than 100k inhabitants (meaning very small by Chinese standards) but, less most Chinese cities these days, it looks very modern and developed.

NEW: NASA has increased the chance a major asteroid smashes into Earth in 2032, now giving it a 3.1% chance, up from 2.6% last week. NASA says the odds the asteroid hits Earth is 1 in 32. It is big enough to wipe out an entire city. The large cities with the highest risk are Bogotá, Abidjan, Lagos, Khartoum, Mumbai, Kolkata and Dhaka. According to experts, the 177-foot diameter asteroid would release 8 megatons of energy on impact, 500 times the energy released by the atomic bomb that destroyed Hiroshima. NASA has successfully tested asteroid deflection technologies. China will also be testing its own technology on a small asteroid in 2027. "This is not a crisis at this point in time. This is not the dinosaur killer. This is not the planet killer. This is at most dangerous for a city," said the head of the European Space Agency's planetary defense office, Richard Moissl.

🦜We made a friend out in the middle of the ocean last week, but it was a much smaller animal than we usually focus on! We had 3 big Fin Whales around us, but these tiny little warblers stole everyone's hearts! These little migrating birds can get blown out to sea by high winds, and when the heavy marine layer and fog settles in, they can become severely lost! A boat like ours is welcome refuge for these exhausted little birds, and this one in particular decided its best chance was to stick with us the rest of the day! It has a long road ahead of it, but by returning this little creature to dry land, it now has a fighting chance. That's all any of us can ever ask for. #birds #birdwatching #photograghy #BirdsOfTwitter #TwitterNatureCommunity

Our Director, Lord Singh of Wimbledon spoke in a House of Lords debate yesterday, on Henry Nowak - with a response from Minister Lord Hanson of Flint Labour Peer & Minister 'My Lords, may I, on behalf of Britain’s peaceful, well-integrated Sikh community of half a million, express our deepest condolences to the family of the young murdered student. His murder is totally unforgivable. It was carried out by someone from the Sikh community who has an obsession with weapons. It has nothing to do with the kirpan that is legitimately worn by Sikhs. It was an offensive weapon with a blade of 23 cm. It was meant to harm and hurt, and we again express our deepest condolences. The other point I would like to make, which I would like the Minister to consider, is on media reporting. On Monday morning, I heard the BBC television news at 7 am. It constantly referred to the offensive weapon and mentioned “kirpan”. It needs to be made absolutely clear that the kirpan is a symbolic, token weapon of about five or six inches, worn under the clothes and not for use in any way. It is simply a reminder of the duty of Sikhs to stand up against social or political injustice. I really would like the Minister to consider the reporting of this event, because that reporting is food and sustenance for the extremists in our society.' #HenryNowak

Most “beautiful hotel” lists start to feel the same after a while. Same infinity pools and beach villas. The same famous names you’ve already seen a hundred times. But the hotels I remember are usually different. They’re the ones with a story behind them. A castle in Ireland where the rain and old stone feel like part of the stay. A desert resort in the Empty Quarter that looks like it rose out of the sand. A palace in Udaipur where you arrive by boat across the lake. A former military fortress in Mallorca turned into one of the most quietly beautiful hotels in the Mediterranean. And then there’s Giraffe Manor in Nairobi. It sounds made up until you see it. An old ivy-covered manor from the 1930s, set in green gardens, where giraffes wander up to the windows during breakfast. That could easily feel like a gimmick, but it doesn’t. Part of what makes it special is that the property is tied to conservation work for endangered Rothschild giraffes. So the magic of the place has some purpose behind it. That’s the kind of hotel I highlight in this series. Not just places with nice rooms. Places with a setting. Places with history. 🏀 Arcade Hoops is now available on the official Meta Horizon Store! 🚀 This was such a fun test: taking an idea and shipping it to the Meta Horizon Store in exactly 4 weeks. I built it using: - Meta VR CLI - Agentic Tools Repo, full of skills - Claude Code + VS Code - Unity 6 + Unity MCP - Meta XR Core + Meta ISDK + MRUK - OpenAI Image 2.0 for concept generation - Adobe Photoshop for all the store assets 💡Honestly, this project taught me so much about what modern VR/MR development workflows can look like when you combine Unity with our agentic workflows.
