In short: "British Mandate for Palestine" was not a Palestinian Arab state where Jews did not exist. On the contrary, the British mandate was founded in order to establish a Jewish state in the Land of Israel. Moreover, a sovereign Arab-Muslim state called "Palestine" has never existed.

The only responsibility for the dead Jews and Muslims is the racist and usurper government of the Zionist state of Israel. Israel is not the country of the Jews. Jews don't need a state. There is something that Zionists ignore: Jews already have many countries in the world where they live. Judaism is not a nationality. Judaism is a religion. Israel can call itself a Zionist state or a Herzlston state, but it cannot call itself a Jewish state.

Long-term peace and security for Israelis and Palestinians requires a two-state solution - Palestinian statehood with normalisation of relations between Israel and the region. It requires recognition of each other’s right to exist. By definition that means no role for Hamas.

I was surprised to see ד״ר עינת וילף Dr. Einat Wilf in an Al Jazeera documentary about UNRWA That alone made me curious: how would they use one of UNRWA’s fiercest critics? The editing is clever. Wilf argues that UNRWA helped preserve a Palestinian identity centered on return and opposition to Jewish sovereignty. Immediately after, the response basically accepts the mechanism >> but reframes it: UNRWA preserves who Palestinians are, why they are refugees, and why they resist Israel. They don’t really rebut her point rather they change what it means. What Wilf calls perpetuating the conflict, Al Jazeera calls preventing Palestinian erasure. Eitherway, I do find it fascinating that AlJazeera is not generally denying the actions of UNRWA, its educational material or training camps, even though the footage is exclusively older footage, it does no longer deny those actions, again regardless of framing, kinda like the pro-palestine movement that started off "hamas did not do that" to "ya, but here is a list of reasons why.." It is the height of hypocrisy to say you support a two-state solution but only recognise one state. I'm pleased there was overwhelming support for my debate in Parliament on the recognition of Palestine. The next UK Government must immediately recognise the state of Palestine.
