Many public school educators change their minds on Texas' universal school choice program once they understand what it actually provides. Public school teachers and administrators see through the Democrats' lies. When they see how it really works, they support school choice.

Public school teachers haven’t forgotten how you used them as political pawns last session — dangling raises and funding, only to snatch it away when you didn’t get your way on vouchers. You withheld money from classrooms and staff, sir. Texas educators see through your lies. And they’re not falling for this “school choice” scam. Public education and our teachers deserve support, not political games — something you still don’t understand. #txed #txlege #YoureTheProblem #DoBetterSir #AdequatelyFundOurSchools #TryAgainSir #PublicSchoolsOverPolitics #TexasTeachersArentYourPawns #5point5MillionStudentsMatter

Haven’t met a single person in Education that thinks vouchers are good idea. I don’t believe you!

Not everyone is in the dark, Governor. I’ve done a deep dive into the subject, interviewing well-learned people from both sides. I’ve always been a fan of yours but this looks like a hoodwink of the public and a bow to the almighty dollar. No one seems to be able to disprove that.

I have taken a really hard look at this. Talked with several school teachers and administrators I know personally. What I discovered is a scam to steal millions from public education and funnel it into pockets of those who would... A. Own the schools, that also happen to be buddies of yours with shady past, and schools with less than par performance records. B. A scam to skim millions from public schools for private schools for Millionaires and Billionaires. MAGAs: If you want your kids to go to private schools. OK, fine. Pay for it your freaking self. Stop leaching off the back of those less fortunate than you. Why not put the same effort into making public schools better? You know, start doing your freaking job.

I know this is your big shiny prize right now but you better make some kind of comment about the many, many Muslim enclaves you’re welcoming into this state. The people of Texas want to hear from you on this. Not a good look after you watched 75,000 illegals and cartel criminals create Colony Ridge.

Eliminate property taxes. Leave Texan hemp businesses alone.

The Edgewood school district in San Antonio saw how school choice (vouchers) work 25 yrs ago. And they realized private schools don’t offer everything public’s do, plus they saw the district lose millions in funding as a consequence. #txlege #txed

Knowing how completely full of it you are helps look at this critically. While we’re trying to reduce bureaucracy at the federal level, you turn key Bush holdovers want to create more bureaucracy. The latest in the form of school choice. I don’t trust you and don’t believe your solution will benefit anyone near as much as your donors.

I just want to know what you’re getting out of this. No one pushes this hard for something so insignificant with out getting something out of it.
