🚨 SELF-DRIVING CARS FREEZE MID-STREET AFTER SAN FRANCISCO BLACKOUT - PASSENGERS TRAPPED INSIDE A massive power outage knocked out huge parts of San Francisco and the city’s fleet of Waymo self-driving taxis immediately broke down. Videos show autonomous cars dead-stopped in intersections, hazard lights flashing, passengers stuck inside, while traffic lights across the city went dark. Officials blame a fire at a PG&E substation that left 125,000+ customers without power. Waymo quietly suspended service but offered no real explanation for why its cars couldn’t operate without the grid. If one blackout turns “the future of transportation” into stalled vehicles blocking emergency routes… what happens when the lights go out on purpose?
