Marco Rubio just explained exactly why the U.S. still has a blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. RUBIO: “The only reason there’s a blockade — the only reason why there’s a U.S. blockade is because Iran has closed...they’re firing on commercial ships and they have mined large segments of...

Secretary Rubio just laid down the law when a reporter asked him about the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. He doubled down: The United States will NEVER allow the Iranian regime to normalize the attacks on commercial ships. RUBIO: “These guys have shut down the Straits of Hormuz.” “This is what Iran is saying, we will shut down the straits and no one can go through. No country in the world can go through unless we allow you to go through and you have to pay us.” “But our ships can go through, meaning the Iranian ships, as much as they want.” “That’s crazy! Who would agree to that?!” “So how are we going to have a situation where they get to close the straits to everybody and the only people allowed to go through there 100% without paying anything are the Iranians?” “If you do that they will keep the straits closed forever.” “They are trying to make this a new normal.” “Under NO circumstances can we ever allow them to normalize the fact that they get to blow up commercial ships and put mines in the water.” “The response to that is we’re going blockade your ships.” “If everyone’s ships are not getting out, your ships are not getting out either.” “That’s not an act of war, that’s a defensive measure, it’s a counter to what they have decided to do.”

🚨 IRAN REALIZED IT SCREWED UP FOUR Iranian or Iran-linked ships have abysmally FAILED to breach Trump's blockade! The IRGC for the past several days PROMISED the world they have full, 100% control over the Strait of Hormuz ahead of JD Vance negotiations Then they tried testing Trump's blockade and Marines SURGED onto the ship! 🔥 The blockade is GOING STRONG, nobody is getting through without permission. The Iranian vessel Touska tried RUNNING the blockade, and the US blew a hole in their engine room. Quite the statement just before negotiations set to begin in Pakistan. IRAN IS PANICKED!

Gray TV’s Jon Decker: “My first has to do with the blockade. There are lawmakers from both parties who claim the blockade is an act of war. What do you say to that? And my second question has to do with the fuel embargo of Cuba. How long, Mr. Secretary, will that last?” Secretary Marco Rubio: “Okay. Two things. All right. Good. I’ll answer both your questions because I like the second one too. The first one on the blockade. And why do we have a blockade? We have a blockade because they shut down the streets. So, I don’t know which members of Congress you’re talking to, but here’s what I would ask them. I would ask everybody here. It’s very simple. These guys have shut down the Straits of Hormuz. This is what Iran is saying. We will shut down the Straits. No one can go through. No country in the world can go through unless we allow you to go through and you have to pay us. But our ships can go through — meaning the Iranian ships — as much as they want. That’s crazy. Who would agree to that? So, how are we going to have a situation where they get to close the straits to everybody, and the only people who are allowed to go through there 100 percent without paying anything are the Iranians. If you do that, they’ll keep the Straits closed forever. They’re trying to make this some new normal, okay? Under no circumstances can we ever allow them to normalize the fact that they get to blow up commercial ships and put mines in the water. So, the response to that is we’re going to blockade your ships. If everyone ships are not getting out, your ships are not getting out either. That’s not an act of war. That’s a defensive measure. It’s a counter to what they have decided to do. You know what is an act of war is? Putting mines in the water. Why don’t the members of Congress, whoever it is, is complaining about it. They should be all over that. These guys put mines in the water that you mining in the water is illegal, period, under any circumstances. And they’ve done it. But this is crazy stuff. But this is what they’ve done. On Cuba — oil blockade on Cuba — there’s no oil blockade on Cuba per se. Here’s what’s happening with Cuba. Cuba used to get free oil from Venezuela, used to give them a bunch of free oil. They would take like 60 percent of that oil and resell it for cash. It wouldn’t even go to benefit the people. So, the only blockade that’s happened is the Cubans have decided, I mean, the Venezuelans have decided we’re not giving you free oil anymore. And you can only imagine nowadays, the way oil prices are, no one’s giving away free oil, much less to a failed regime. So, the problem of Cuba is worse, okay? There are economic model doesn’t work, doesn’t work. And the people who are in charge can’t fix it. And the reason that I can’t fix it is not just because they’re communists. That’s bad enough, but they’re incompetent communists. The — the only thing worse than a communist is an incompetent one. And that’s what incompetent communists run that country. They don’t know how to fix it. They really don’t. And we have 90 miles from our shores, a failed state that also happens to be friendly territory for some of our adversaries. So it’s an unacceptable status quo, and we’ll be addressing it, but not today.”

TOTAL CONTROL: President Trump says the U.S. naval blockade is in full effect in the Strait of Hormuz and is "a wall of steel." Sec. of War Pete Hegseth says the blockade can be maintained “indefinitely.” “We will rotate ships in and out as we have and we will continue to do that.” Jonathan Hunt tells Martha MacCallum on The Story that, as a result of that blockade, President Trump says the U.S. now has total control over the Strait of Hormuz and “there is nothing Iran can do about it.”

🚨🇺🇸 🇮🇷 Sec Rubio just reframed the entire blockade narrative: "The blockade is not a blockade against shipping. It's a blockade against Iranian shipping. They cannot be the sole beneficiaries of an illegal, unlawful, and unjustified system of tolling and control in the straits." What he's saying: Iran can collect Hormuz tolls or it can ship its own oil. Not both. The U.S. just made clear what Iran's new peace proposal has to swallow if it wants the blockade lifted. The toll booth has to come down too.

🚨 JUST IN: General Dan Caine says America's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz has successfully BLOCKED THIRTEEN ships from Iranian ports so far A couple ships of ships attempted to hop the blockade line, and the US Navy IMMEDIATELY sprung into action, threatening to board the ships and seize them. Those attempted blockade runners quickly turned around. Wise choice. The message sent to those ships by the US Navy: "Do not attempt to breach the blockade. Vessels will be boarded for interdiction to and from Iranian ports. Turn around or prepare to be boarded. If you do not comply, we WILL use force."
