I love the raw feel of these one-takes. They definitely hearken back to the early Guerrilla Bars days when I’d just be walking through environments rapping about whatever I saw. I also love the excitement of being a few minutes into a one-take and realizing that anything could happen and I’ll have to find a way to incorporate it and make it work. This format is impossible to fake, which is probably what I love most about it.

Dansby Swanson walking through this infield routine via his YouTube video. I cut it up to show my favorite parts but the full length video is on his channel. I just stumbled on this and absolutely love seeing different perspectives on how the pros go about their routines. Everyone is different but the fact he is sharing what makes him great, for free, is a huge advantage to the youth/coaches/parents out there. I wish I had videos like this growing up! It may be baseball but it 100% applies to softball.
