Mark Carney fumbles while trying to explain why he won't accept a second French-language debate hosted by TVA, despite previously saying he'd attend. The PM says TVA didn't invite Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, and adds the two scheduled debates are enough.

"The Democratic Party's actions had left many U.S. citizens feeling humiliated. Signs of a Trump victory were proclaimed well before Biden withdrew from the race. The voters had had enough." 📝 @KarinaLMariani

90% of Canadian speak English, and we’re gonna cater to one percent when do we do the Indian debate or the Chinese debate?

It would seem that Quebec was never really serious about the French Language being soooooo important. Every other election, it has been imperative that the PM actually be able to speak French fluently. Seems not the case with Mark Carney. Was it all just a scam? Looks like it.

What blows my mind is how many Quebec residents are going to vote for him after this affront! The audacity to snub Canada’s second largest province!

@ezralevant Will only agree to the CBC/ RC debates, knowing they will be heavily moderated and probably biased.
