Government insiders set up 2 person companies with 1 trophy "indigenous" person so that 2 person company can get the contract, after taking a commission. Then that 2 person company sells the contract to non indigenous groups. It has been happening over and over again. A perfect example is Randy Boissonnault and the "other Randy" who was declared as indigenous, but no one could find that Randy. PPC candidate David Yeo was also barred from applying for new Federal contracts after it came out his companies were getting upwards of $200 million in Federal contracts using a 2 person company.

Data centers are not federal jurisdiction. They are an enterprise entirely within provincial boundaries, an industry that can be entirely provincially regulated and approved. Carney should stay out of it.

Canadian data centers like Canadian universities will never be world class as long as hiring and staffing are political and not based on merit.

Now this should scare every tax payer, the government could not build a simple app or Health Care software and they are going to build a AI giga center!

I have no problem with indigenous investing in anything. As long as it is their money they are investing. Not money given to them by taxpayers. And I don't want taxpayers guaranteeing any loans for them either. If the indigenous stand on their own, they have my full support.
