For a whole year, I gave part of my salary to Maleek. I saw value in him that I did not want the NCAA to lose, and so I paid the price until......and he continues to add value. If my DG did not know it and say it, I probably would be silent as I have been about many others. But, we love the NCAA, and we will continue to do our best to leave the regulatory Authority much better than we met it. PS: I did not get a refund 😀😀 But Maleek was a sacrifice with making.

Justin Thomas was asked about his group getting put on the clock: "We just didn't really agree with it. ... The hard part to me with the whole pace of play thing is that you, there's so much that goes into golf and there's so much that goes into hole to hole in terms of, are you hitting it close, are you able to tap it in, or you have to mark it, stuff like that, to where, are you holding the group up or are you not, to where it's very hard to make that call. PRX alecks reflects on the team's playstyle and how it has evolved over the years: "I think we've just got a lot more careful. I think that was a bit disappointing on our side because I think we know how to shut this down because we used to do these kinds of things and we couldn't do it today because, again, like I said, we forgot. I can go through the years, but between 2022 to 2024, we pretty much just made sure that everything was strat-based and we just charged people and hoped that we had better mechanics. Then around 2025, I think we took a look at the year and with how good Yoru was, we just tried to leverage the fact that Yoru could be everywhere on the map and we tried to make sure that we understood the game on a micro level a lot better. Maybe for all you know, it came back to bite us in the ass today. What we needed to do was win the fight and then [inaudible], and we used to be very good at that. John Lynch explains why the 49ers didn't address the offensive line earlier than the 7th round of the draft: "We we're able to do that with Connor Colby, but there were a number of times that we were interested in adding and it just didn't come our way. And you’ve gotta stay true to where you have guys graded, not take guys just to take them but to take guys that you're interested in at that point. And it just never really aligned. We were happy to add Colby. We think he's a really good scheme fit. Great thing about Iowa is they run a very similar, they run a lot of outside zones, so you get to see a guy like him do things that we do and he does them well. So, we’re happy to add that. But there were a number of times Kyle and I were talking about that at the end that just didn't align, one of those deals and you don't want to force things. So, it wasn't our time for that."

I think they had a very good game plan on Split and we had no answer for it and I think that was the main issue. Corrode, I think we probably should have closed it out if we did a little bit better on certain rounds, but it is what it is. Sometimes you don't win crucial rounds and these things happen. But on Abyss, we knew it was going to be a tough match regardless. I think we had like 10 hours to prepare, so it wasn't the best, but we tried our best and I think Nongshim is a great team. I think they play very, very, very well together and we played against them for a long, long time, so we already knew that they were very, very good, so we're not really too bummed about it."
