‼️🇫🇷🇷🇺 France is forced to release a tanker from Russia's "shadow fleet" ▪️Paris is releasing a previously detained Russian tanker from the "shadow fleet" in accordance with national legislation. ▪️Emmanuel Macron informed Zelensky about this during a telephone conversation. ▪️The French President announced his intention to change laws so that detained Russian tankers will not be released in the future. ▪️Previously, all similar detentions of the "shadow fleet" by EU countries also ended with the release of the vessels. ▪️International maritime law prohibits the seizure of civilian vessels in international waters, except in a limited number of cases.
