my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. ☕️I spent a little time at the beach the other morning reflecting and contemplating🧠. Dont mind my glasses🤓, I dont and left them broken because they still can perform their fuction. It leads me into the idea I propose to you today. #acceptance Let it go. Let go of things that you can not control. Focus on yourself first and accept things around you as they are and stop trying to change them to be how you want them. Start changing yourself instead. Be like the crab 🦀 who uses the ocean water to cary him to a safe location where he can grow and prosper. Live in acceptance of others❤️.
