Martin Chivers #Legend 💙 RIP 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thank you for posting it. 'Big Chiv' -- a great player. Powerful, and stylish. As a boy I saw him play many times and well remember his double at Wembley to beat Aston Villa in League Cup Final. A sad day.

Superb finisher

An old fashioned centre forward who had not been introduced to the art of falling to the floor, rolling several times whilst holding his head. Every £0.01p paid to him was earnt with his efforts on the pitch. RIP, big guy.

We didn't realise at the time how good he was, just took it for granted, and look at the pitches he played on, and defenders were allowed to kick him up in the air, RIP Martin

Will always remember those two at Wolves in the UEFA Final. RIP Martin. 💙🤍

Sad day, glad I was there to see this fantastic player play. Rest in peace Martin gone, but you will never be forgotten. I remember that diving header like it was yesterday. COYS, forever in our memories.

What a player,b4 my time but iv seen enough of him to see how good he was..sad loss. #legend

Rest in peace big man i had lots of joy watching him, even pleasure playing against him what a legend

Beautiful video .. Rip Martin true legend 🤍💙😢🙏🏼

Saints legend & born in Southampton

He’s one of the reasons I started supporting Spurs - true Legend! Would n’t it be a good idea to show this video to our current bunch of alleged professionals to remind them that the whole point of football is to put that round thing between those 2 white uprights ?

Brilliant
