This is a government-mandated decision that EL AL is required to follow. What this means for you: roughly half of passengers currently booked on upcoming U.S. flights will be receiving cancellation notifications. If your flight is canceled, you are entitled to a full refund or a voucher - please visit for details and next steps. We are also pausing the assignment of additional passengers to U.S.-bound flights at this time.

When Iranian regime-linked officials can enter Canada under false identities and remain here for an entire decade, that is not a paperwork error. It is a damning indictment of how badly Mark Carney’s Liberals have failed to keep control of the system.
