Josh Phair, CEO of Scottsdale Mint and the Wyoming Reserve, says the physical silver market is much stronger than the price action suggests. He says U.S. retail has cooled, but global demand remains vibrant, especially in Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea, where physical silver buying is still very active. In his view, large institutions are using price weakness to accumulate, while international demand is pulling metal out of key markets and creating real tightness in physical supply.
