A correction - this isn’t an ethnic conflict but a series of aggression or attacks by the #KukiMilitants on the Meitei villagers and security forces . Please checked and confirmed by yourself - of the more then >300 or so incidnces of armed attacks , more then 98% are committed by the #KukiMilitants. Of which more then 98% of the victims of Armed militants attacks are Meiteis . Remember , we in Manipur are facing a situation where when even CRPf or BSF jawans are killed by the kuki militants, there is no retaliation by the Indian military forces . This has never happened in India ever before , where when jawans are killed, that there is no retaliation

But certain left activists has been trying to run a fake narrative that BJP's people are involved in this. That is not true. Manipur has been burning for the past 6 months and a few days. But the whole Nation is busy with Sports and Election. Why the media is paying a silent spectator towards Manipur which is also called a Sports hub of India? Manipur has brought laurels in the many fields specially Sports from time to time, ahead of most of the states of India. And why now, why the media is turning their back when Manipur is burning? Now it is festive season. We have been celebrating the Diwali festival from many years back. Now it is time to show the whole of India that Manipur is mourning. As a remembrance for our martyrs and those who are all affected, let us switch off all the lights for just 10 minutes from 6 - 6.10 pm in this festival of light. Let the whole of Manipur be dark for 10 minutes. Let us unite as one. Please come one and for all for the cause. Sidaba mapu na yaiphare!!!
