He was a cheater, caught using ChatGPT to cheat in exams. Once students are admitted through reservation, they are expected to study and perform at par with other students. But when some such students cannot cope with academically stronger students, they may take such an extreme step. What is shameful is how reservation supporters now want to portray him as a victim by pushing a fabricated caste narrative, instead of acknowledging the actual circumstances. Shame.

@iitbombay Reservation gives you access to the seat but there you have to compete with toppers of India. Imagine the level of lectures.That's a kind of torcher to low level IQ. Even if one get a seat through EWS , he should think twice before joining IIT.

@iitbombay He cheated in semester exam and used mobile phone to access AI, he feared disciplinary repercussions on his behaviour and took this step himself, stop soreading selective news that fits your casteist agenda.

@iitbombay IITs are overall very high impact studies, it needs a lot of effort even for those who have done advanced studies before admission. I have seen state toppers struggle. Due to reservations if you put boundary passing dullard kids in courses where advanced IQ kids struggle

@iitbombay As an IITian I can say that there is no open casteism in IIT. There are strong ac/ST committee which oversees complaints.
