Man - this is incredible. I didn’t even know these checks were in the game!! Thank you for sharing.

boxingfan78912 months ago

Is there a particular reason why the qf or the corner don’t recognize the stemmed down corner?

LitezBreakdowns2 months ago

The QF is passing it off initially as a Vertical route while the Outside Quarter is treating it like a flat initially so isnt immediately matching. Its hitting a sweet spot against Box

boxingfan78912 months ago

Makes sense thanks!

Huge BUG you must know about if you run "Match Coverage" against BUNCH This one was shown to me by ItsGinobili The "Bingo" Check does a really good job at stopping "Corner Routes" from Outside WRs in Bunch BUT, there's a Bug that makes him "Man Up" to the Outside WR sometimes, even when he shouldn't! This doesn't mean Bingo is unusable, but it's why I prefer Box, and Usering on the "Weak Side" Safety

This One-Play Touchdown Bomb Scores Against EVERY Zone Defense in #Madden27 🤯 This one setup bombs Cover 3, Cover 4, Cover 3 with a Deep Half AND even Cover 2. Formation: Trips X Nasty Play: Verticals Setup: 1️⃣ Corner Route the TE & Fully Stem Down 2️⃣ Drag the Slot WR 3️⃣ Put the solo WR on an In Route 4️⃣ Stem the In Route up about 2 times The key is the pass lead. Against Cover 4, the Inside Quarter drops while the Outside Quarter jumps the Corner, creating a window over the top for a one-play score. Cover 3? Same result. Even if they add a Deep Half specifically to stop the bomb, wait for the window and pass lead Down + Inside to get underneath it. Cover 2 has a better chance, but the right pass lead can still get the ball away from the Deep Half for six. Plaster can make the throw tougher, but even that can be attacked by leading the ball away from the defender. 🎥 Full breakdown in the video. And this is just ONE setup from Swolosimo's brand-new Bucs Offense Gameplan on Victory Formation GG.

Nick Saban - Rip/Liz Match - 1 High Man Match Cover 3 (Strong Rotation) or Cover 6 (Weak Rotation) Corners - Responsible for #1 unless short or under within the first 5 yards. - If #1 is short within the first 5 yards, CB gives a smash call to the curl flat player & matches #2 vertical. Flat Defenders - If your man is vertical in the seam, then you match him. - If your man goes under, make an under call and zone off to the curl flat. - Come off #2 vertical and match #1 short if you get a smash call from the corner. - Come off #2 vertical versus a fast #3. "We're playing zone versus a fast 3." Hook Defenders - Must take #3 thru unless given an under call. - Saban started running Rip/Liz after 1994 in order to deal with the vertical seams + out route combinations vs 3 Deep Zone (lost 3 games to the Pittsburgh Steelers)

This Match Shell is how you completely cage Bunch X Nasty out of Double Mug in Madden 26 🔒🧠 The instant D-Pad switch is key because it lets you guard any speed table and lurk underneath, while your match shell keeps all of its responsibilities. Setup: 1️⃣ Man up the Bunch-side safety to the point man WR 2️⃣ Put your user in a Hook Curl 3️⃣ Instant D-Pad switch to the curl flat to become your new user With the match shell intact, this takes away the three most common Bunch X Nasty route combos: 1️⃣ Streak → Slot Fade → Corner (left to right on the bunch side) 2️⃣ Spacing Switch with HB table plus backside drag and return 3️⃣ Seam Streak Bomb Clean coverage, no free tables, and forced checkdowns. 🎥 Full breakdown in the video! Duke had a clever Cover 4 answer built into this modified dash pass. The offensive line sells stretch to the boundary, which gets the linebackers flowing and helps the quarterback capture the edge. The defense is being forced to defend run action, quarterback movement, and a field-side bunch formation at the same time. Against condensed sets and bunch looks, defenses often like Cover 4 because it lets them play with clean rules to pass bunch crossers easily while keeping the roof protected. The issue is what happens when the single receiver crosses the formation and floods into the opposite side of the field. Cover 4 is built to distribute vertical threats, but it can get stressed when the receiver count changes late. The boundary safety is occupied by the new No. 3 vertical. The back releases to the flat, No. 2 becomes No. 3, and the safety has to carry that vertical threat. Now the backside corner is trying to chase the single receiver across the field with no real help waiting for him. That is the design. Move the quarterback. Sell stretch with the OL. Force the coverage to honor its rules. Then send the single receiver where the structure is least equipped to handle him. Good pass game design is not always about inventing something new. It is often about understanding what the defense is responsible for and putting stress on the one rule that does not have a clean answer.

The Madden 27 Slant Glitch creates INSANE separation against Man Coverage. You need a 6'0"+ WR and a QB with fast Hot Route animations. After a flip or audible, put the WR who gets set LAST on a Slant and snap the ball RIGHT when he finishes getting set. If timed correctly, he gets a glitched stutter-step and speed boost that works very similar to the Stem Glitch from Madden 25. Full breakdown in the video. The #Eagles drop Josh Sweat into coverage so they can blitz Kevin Byard from 6 yards off the line of scrimmage. The resulting coverage is Fire Zone (3 deep, 3 underneath). Josh Sweat is responsible for the #3 receiver but doesn't realize that #3 changes when the back goes to the flat and the slot runs a slant. And why should he? He is an EDGE rusher for pete's sake. It's fair to wonder if this play works out differently if you actually have a pass rusher rushing the passer and a safety playing coverage.

This is the SECRET to playing lockdown Man Coverage in #CollegeFootball27 🔒🔥 Most players know about universal shading and route committing. The problem is it adjusts everyone, meaning if you commit inside, any outside-breaking route has a chance to win. Instead, start individually shading and route committing based on your opponent's tendencies. How to do it: 1️⃣ Hold LT/L2 2️⃣ Press the icon of the receiver you want to adjust 3️⃣ Flick the Right Stick to shade or route commit in the direction you expect Why it works: 🏈 If your opponent keeps throwing crossers, drags or returns, individually route commit those receivers inside. 🏈 If another receiver is consistently breaking outside, individually shade or route commit him outside instead. Instead of guessing with your entire defense, you're tailoring each defender to the routes you actually expect. 🎥 Full breakdown in the video. 📌 Bookmark this and follow Swolosimo for more College Football 27 tips 🔥

This is the BEST Way To Bomb both of the most common coverages in #Madden27, Cover 3 AND Cover 4. And you can do it using the SAME basic concept. The key is using an in-breaking Seam Streak to manipulate the Deep Zones and create a huge opening downfield. This is most commonly done in: Formation: 5 WR Tight Playbooks: Bucs & Jags Play: Clear Deep 1️⃣ Use the built-in in-breaking Seam Streak from the TE 2️⃣ Corner route the Outside Bunch WR & Fully Stem Down or Simply Slot Fade Him Against Cover 4, the 3 vertical routes attack the Deep Quarters at different depths and can force one of them to completely VACATE its responsibility. That leaves the Middle Fade WIDE open for a huge gain or TD. And against Cover 3, the same concept can manipulate the Deep Third and create another easy bomb opportunity. ✅ Bomb Cover 3 ✅ Bomb Cover 4 ✅ Use the SAME basic setup against both This is especially useful against players who think they can sit back in these basic coverages online. 🎥 Full breakdown in the video 📌 Just one video from Klow' most recent Lab Update!

South Dakota State - DUO Scheme - "How we classify it is really Power without a puller." - Emphasis on vertical double teams - Play side double team works to ID backer - 2nd double team works to -1 backer - Kick out the +1 - "We love this out of our bunch sets. Love it against under fronts & man coverage teams because the play will spray to the Corner." - Rules for the RB: "If the Mike is out, you're in. If the Mike is in, you're out." Setting your Flat Zones to 10 yards is one of the best ways to BAG meta flood concepts in Madden 26 🛑🧠 Most players are getting killed by stem-down corners or Bunch Nasty floods because they haven’t touched their coaching adjustments. How to set them up • Go to Coaching Adjustments • Scroll to Flat Zones • Set to 10 yards • In-game: Triangle / Y → Down on the Right Stick to shade underneath Why it’s elite • It baits the QB by looking like it’s covering the corner before dropping to the flat • One hard flat can essentially cover two routes at once • It’s the ultimate counter to stem-down corners and tight end flats/HB Crab Routes 🎥 Full breakdown in the video Bookmark this and follow Swolosimo for more Madden tips

How to Get Inverted (Backwards) Hot Routes on Your Tight End For certain tight end routes like the Stick Nod, you can use motion to get INVERTED hot routes, meaning hot routes that are backwards from how they are supposed to run. This works best in formations like Gun Trips TE and Gun Bunch TE where the tight end is on the outside of the formation. The inverted Stick Nod route can be especially tricky because not only does it COOK man coverage, but it also gets into a super unique spot vs zone coverage as well. Your opponent isn't going to see this one coming!
