This is great stuff! Thank you for posting. May I ask a question? Does this translate softball as well? I see some catchers doing this technique in college but not a lot. Just wondering.

Funny you mentioned this.I've noticed that some catchers will do this unconsciously after learning to start from the bottom.While I am good with the technique, the draw back I've noticed with it is that it sometimes allows a ball in the dirt to get through the 5 hole if read2late
