@LxyvAI Unfortunately, literally no skill or progression in real life is like this

nothing is perfect. you aim to be perfect. you never reach it. so just try.

@LxyvAI looks unsustainable

if you can achieve even 5% or even 3% betterment per week. you will still beat the quadratic

@LxyvAI Zero connection to reality

@LxyvAI What can you do better 10% every week ?

@LxyvAI in this graph, what is x?

Number of weeks

a human getting 10% better every week, is a god. and that 10% has to be the overall of all aspects minus bias, decay, etc. or else, if he gets 10% better in p field, but his understanding q and t, and his life in u and i drop, then his betterment in p based on q and t where those are connected in a polymathic disparate way, drop the 10% in p field. u and i also affect the learning rate, decaying the 10% over time.

qt relax

@LxyvAI

@LxyvAI How do you know if something or someone is better by 10% every week?

by not doing just 1 habit each week that won’t serve you any good next year

@LxyvAI I think the habit that is most difficult to lose is watching TV shows. I am going to start with that. Let's see how it goes.

@LxyvAI Your math is wrong

@LxyvAI #SPX6900 coded

@LxyvAI Math behind "Start at 1$ and you will be a millionaire by 145"

@LxyvAI 毎週10%向上するのに必要な作業量

@LxyvAI 1.1x is what you meant, not 1.1^x

nope 1.1x is linear. however growth is compounding

@LxyvAI Yeah, I thought you meant compounding at a linear rate

@LxyvAI Wow. Give me 5 years and I'll be running the 100m dash in 0.5 seconds.

@LxyvAI Why not 100% every day?

@LxyvAI The higher you climb, the more difficult the next step will be...

@LxyvAI how to interpret weeks squared? Whats that? tells you nothing.

@LxyvAI why not be 10,000% better every second instead?

@LxyvAI All this animation just to reiterate that an exponential function by definition will always outclass a power function?

@LxyvAI Bottlenecked by your brain

@LxyvAI How can i define or measure "better"?

create a list of all your negative habits (habits that won’t serve you either physically, mentally or financially one year from now) replace them with all good habits. if you have 10 things bad about yourself, try to change them or transition them to something that would actually serve you one year from now. you won’t be able to do it right away. but try. even if you can reach 30-40% results of what you expected. you would win.

@LxyvAI @007MnK_ So it’s not about improving or adding - but about removing. And fill that vacuum witj what works already

@007MnK_ pretty much yes. and thats improvement

@LxyvAI Now apply this in real life. Say to running a marathon. Week 1 Sawe does it in 1:59, week 2 1:47, week 5: 1:18, week 10 0:49, week 52 0:00:32 You’re telling me someone can run a marathon in 32 seconds with just 1 years training? #natgas @IfindRetards

@LxyvAI Exponentiation is always incredibly powerful.

@LxyvAI The issue is diminishing returns. “Improve 10% per day” sounds plausible when you’re bad, because the first gains are cheap. But once you’ve captured the obvious 80/20, the next 10% is no longer another easy chunk. You may spend months, years for that next 10% improvement.

@LxyvAI I’d like upload this video please

you can dm

@LxyvAI I can’t with your video

@LxyvAI this is how the turtle won the race…

@LxyvAI The sweet spot is x~95,7. So - two years and a few weeks...

@LxyvAI Yeah if I get to live for a few hundred years maybe that would be worth it

@LxyvAI 10% de 1 é 0.1, mas 10% de 1000 é 100, a melhoria dos 10% não é linear. Quanto mais avançado você fica mais difícil é evoluir.

@LxyvAI OK I'm curious what improvement strategy is the quadratic?

@LxyvAI Real growth is typically radical

@LxyvAI Insane slop and gay

@LxyvAI This is the same reason why @paulg mentioned about why startups should grow 10% per week.

@LxyvAI

@LxyvAI the thing is we don't wait till that 90th week,

@LxyvAI Now do 3.7%
