More geometry level techniques! This time to create cool particle trails. In my early Houdini days I've struggled with particle trails, specifically tapering the beginning of the trails. This is because I was trying to do it directly within the simulation. However doing it after the simulation is much easier and faster. From this tapering setup, I've started to layer even more deformations like twisting, noise, and finally I've decided that in some cases it's better to just do it all at the geometry level :) #sidefxhoudini #houdini #houdinifx

The theory of higher order topological dynamics, which combines multilevel interactions between discrete topology and nonlinear dynamics, has the potential to enhance our understanding of complex systems such as the functions of the nervous system, the development of next-generation machine learning and the creation of advanced nodal processing algorithms. The perspective of the preliminary study linked here offers insights into how topology morphs dynamics, how dynamics stem from topology and how topology evolves dynamically. 🔗
