This week’s tube strikes will not be a one off. Labour are passing laws to make sure that strikes are more frequent, last longer, and with less notice. We will all be held hostage by the trade unions. Do we really want more of this?

We are in Enkangala for a by-law enforcement operation. This operation follows an engagement we held with residents and businesses who requested tougher and equal enforcement of municipal by-laws, Immigration Act and the Labour Relations Act. We are checking for compliance with municipal by-laws. Establishments that do not comply will be closed. City of Tshwane

This week’s planned strikes are unnecessary. Workers’ pay claims will only be settled by negotiation but their unions prefer disruption.

We will not be remembered by the laws we passed. We will not be remembered by the oversight functions we are able to perform. We will not be remembered by the fact that we won and we are here. We'll be most remembered by the positions we take for matters of controversy and issues that are sensitive to our nation. There are thousands that have been here and have left, and there will be more. Our children, our brothers, our siblings will be here, but they will remember us by the mark we make here. - Shehu Sani, Fmr. Senator representing Kaduna Central, speaking at the 2026 NASS Open Week.

I think Polish farmers might want to hear this. Russian propagandist Solovyev: "Do the Poles want to be next? They are not Ukrainians. We will not treat them like brothers. We'll bloody destroy all those cities in an instant, without using ground troops. It's Ukraine we feel sorry for, but there [in Poland] we'll fight like the Americans in Iraq. We will simply, I am not sure about nuclear strikes, but with missile strikes and air strikes, I am sure, we will just freaking destroy them. And we won't even think twice."

SAM ALTMAN SAYS OPENAI HAS PAUSED TRAINING RUNS FOR SAFETY WORK AND WILL DO MORE OF IT "We've talked in the last couple of months about pausing runs as we get to these new levels of capabilities to make more safety and alignment progress. We will do more of that going forward." He says the industry needs to come together, and ideally international governments too. "We need to be able to make decisions that are not obviously in the interest of our business and our shareholders for the responsibility of fulfilling our mission." "People should be happy that we are able and willing to not just race ahead and say either our business requires this or only we can be trusted with this." "We want to ensure that no one's taking the 10% risk, certainly not us, of something really terrible happening."

Donald Trump will not be president forever. He and his administration will be held accountable one way or another — and the Illinois Accountability Commission will make sure we do just that.

For two years the people of Borehamwood have gathered to remember the hostages. I was honoured this week to be asked to speak at what we hope will be one of the last hostage vigils. We are hopeful the war in Israel and Gaza is over. We are less hopeful that our fight against antisemitism is finished.

Over the last 200 years, we've automated away a lot of hard physical labour. But people still go to the gym. Indeed, many people today are more physically capable than people in the past. We can train systematically for whatever physical goal we want, and it's more fun than hard labour on a pre-modern farm. Andrej Karpathy's hope is that, in the future, the same will be true of learning. AI tutoring that's tailored to each person will make learning easy, and more people will want to do it. We will be able to go much further than our ancestors.

Sadiq Khan’s Tube strikes are holding Londoners’ hostage, again. And for what? Because unions want a 32-hour week, for the same pay as they get now, up to £80,000 to £100,000 a year with overtime. I want to see a London where we have less disruption, fewer strikes, and lower costs for everyone. And the way we get there is through automation, modern, efficient, and strike-proof. It’s not a threat. It’s the solution.

BREAKING 🔴 Israel is Creating a New Corridor in Gaza! Netanyahu: "Last night in the Gaza Strip we shifted gears. The IDF is seizing territory, striking terrorists, destroying infrastructure. And we are doing one more thing - we are seizing the 'Morag Axis'. This will be the second Philadelphi, the additional Philadelphia Axis. Because we are now severing the Strip and we are increasing the pressure step by step, so that they will give us our hostages. And the more they do not give, the more the pressure will increase until they do. We are determined to achieve the goals of the war, and we are working tirelessly, with a clear line and a clear mission. And with God's help and with the help of our heroic soldiers - we will also achieve it."

I really want this government to succeed and I’ve always worked to that end. But we can’t just pretend everything is going great and what we need is more of the same. I will make sure we are connected to our communities and make better decisions.

"Kyiv is already starting to moan" – Lavrov stated that Russia will intensify retaliatory strikes against Ukrainian Armed Forces targets in Ukraine and will not agree to a ceasefire. "We will not stoop to [the Ukrainian Armed Forces' terrorist methods], but we will make our own much more brutal to destroy everything that fuels Kyiv's war machine from the West. And we are already doing this. And they are already starting to moan. More and more voices from various quarters are calling for us to stop immediately; this will not work. We must stop when there is a long-term, reliable, and sustainable settlement. If we were to suddenly stop at the line of contact now, we would, in essence, allow the heroism of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, who defeated Nazism, to be erased. This is unthinkable."

In less than one week, some (but not all) social media platforms will be required by Australian law to prevent under 16s from accessing their services. How will they enforce the rules? We don’t really know. Will more and more platforms be captured by the law? We don’t really know. Will every Australian adult need to verify their identity in order to prove their age? We don’t really know. What do we know? Well we know that the Government are out there desperately trying to sell it. My view is that it is going to be an absolute train wreck and all right before Christmas and school holidays. To hear more from me and stay up to date, signup to my email newsletter here:

Multiculturalism doesn't work. The sooner we get comfortable with this fact, the better off we'll be, and the more lives we will save. If tolerance means a man gets beheaded in the streets of Belfast, I do not want to be tolerant.

Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar told Margaret Brennan she’s sure “that the political prisoners will be coming out” of Venezuela. We are definitely taking this with solid steps,” Salazar said. “We do not want to make any mistakes. We’re not giving them, meaning Diosdado and Delcy, any type of leeway for them to really run the country,” Salazar said.
