Nice. You could add another layer of interest by automating velocities with patterns of different lengths. In Ableton and Bitwig this is quite easy, not sure about Reaper.

Thx for info! I wanted to try Ableton! Reaper is an orthodox DAW that is easy to use, so I end up using it.
