Failure is a teacher. If you have success, you did it right, so there is probably nothing to learn. But if you have failure, there is something to learn. You have to make the most of your failures. Over time, I developed an instinctual reaction to failure. My instinct now is to view failure as a puzzle that will give me gems if I can solve it. "One of the challenging things about the really important stuff in life is that they’re endless battles. If you do a good job focusing today and prioritizing today, if you pick the right thing to focus on, it earns you no bonus points for tomorrow. Tomorrow you show up, and if you spend all that time on YouTube or getting distracted or whatever, that day is gone. Other things are like that, too. Just because you worked out two weeks ago doesn’t mean you don’t need to do it today. Or just because you were a good spouse yesterday, that earns you no bonus points for today. You still need to show up for them. And so I’m trying to get comfortable with the endless nature of those things. we all dream of those big wins in life the 100x, the multi-million dollar trade, or even just 10x of what you started with in 7 days i’ve been fortunate enough to experience a few of those over the past few years, and the reality is when you do win big, it doesn’t feel like it at all it hits for a split second, and then your brain just normalizes it it's a part of how to get there in the first place, but makes it a lot easier to lose it if you don't have the right guardrails in place and in that exact moment, you being even keeled doesn’t mean the number in front of you isn’t life changing it is this is where you have to slow down a bit, breathe, settle your mind don’t just roll it into some bullshit take some off the table, step away for a few days if you have to, funny enough, blowing let's say 10k of it on a beautiful trip to tokyo will save you so much because once you actually process what just happened, your future self will thank you for it the truth is, even if you think you’re going for a certain number, the moment you hit it, you’ll want more and more, and more anyone who's been in the same position will tell you the exact same thing ironically the people that win are addicted to winning and if you ask the same people in a year after that big win, what they regret and where are they proud of themselves? they will tell you they regretted rolling it over and giving some/all back or they are proud for switching back on the switch all of this is real, but it’s also exactly how i imagined it would feel years ago before it ever happened manifest your life, the feeling not just the number everything happens twice, first in your mind, then in reality

Just fold a tape measure back on itself, line up the two fractions you want to add, and the end of the tape gives you the answer. No common denominators, no calculator needed. He added 38½ + 10¾ and got 49¼… then did even harder ones and it still worked perfectly. Carpenters have been quietly flexing this for years. Have you ever seen this tape measure trick before, or is this a new one for you?

There are a huge variety of puzzles in Crimson Desert, so far each one that I have encountered in the open world has been different to the previous one I've finished. Each one of them required different approaches that sometimes it took me several minutes to finish. Once you finish the puzzle, it gives you this incredible feeling of achievement because you know you did it all by yourself, with no help whatsoever. Most games would usually start giving you hints not even a minute after you start working on a puzzle

I’ve been following this phenomenon for a while. I have no idea what to make of it but when you see the sky get that black at 3:30 in the afternoon on a sunny day AND you hear what sounds like loud trumpets in the sky…It means something.. I’m not sure what. I don’t know if it’s biblical or if it’s something our government is doing, but I know what it sounds like to me . It’s been happening all over the world . I’d love to hear your opinions on this.
