Aubrey Plaza says a director told her to suck on Robert De Niro's nipples during their 10-hour sex scene Aubrey Plaza: "He's a dirty grandpa, and I'm a dirty... girl." Jimmy Kimmel: "You have a sex scene with him." Aubrey Plaza: "Yeah. It was fun." Jimmy Kimmel: "For you it was fun. Was it fun for him as well?" Aubrey Plaza: "I can't speak for him. You know, it was a long day. They allotted an entire day for it." Jimmy Kimmel: "They did, really? How many hours?" Aubrey Plaza: "Say about nine, a solid nine, maybe ten. "And there was a lot of interesting stuff that went down, you know. One thing in particular was, the director, who's British, Dan Mazer, who is awesome and I loved him, it was a little bit of like we didn't totally plan out the scene. We didn't know how it was going to go down." "So there was a lot of moments where Dan would call me over and he'd be like, 'In the next take, Aubrey, why don't you suck on his nipples, try that.'" "And I'd be like, 'You want me to do it?' I'd rather not. And then he'd be like, 'Yeah, suck on his nipples.'" "Then I would go and I'd try to do it, and I'd try to get in there and suck on his nipples, and he was like batting me away, and I didn't know if it was like in character or not, 'cause you never know." "Then they cut the camera, and then Dan called me back and he's like, 'Bob does not like his nipple area paid attention to.' So, don't do that." "And I was like, great, well now he thinks that I wanted to do that."

The censors objected to this kissing (sex) scene in 'The Big Combo' (1955) stating that “This filth of showing a guy going down on a woman is not for the American audience.” Joseph H Lewis hit back at them saying that the scene was open left to interpretation and they were the one filthy for imagining that. After that, the Censors allowed that scene to appear in the movie. Here is Joseph H. Lewis explaining the incident: "They called me into the projection room and I asked them what they objected to, and one guy very crudely came out and said, “This filth of showing a guy going down on a woman is not for the American audience.” And I said, “You’re the one that’s filthy. This wasn’t my intention at all—I left it to your imagination. If you want to imagine this, that’s up to you. But you never saw him kiss that girl below her neck and—” He says, “Well, what was the intent?” I said, “You supply me with the emotion: that’s why I left it to the audience. But don’t tell me I’m filthy, or a filthy director.” And they left it in, of course. They had no basis." ('Who the devil made it', Peter Bogdanovich, 1997)
