Something to do with the foreign object rule. Can’t have tool on the table that is not being used. Same as a block of chalk if it’s on the bed while a shot is played who ever’s shot it is, is a foul. Strange rule but pro players should know this.

This sort of behaviour just isn't surprising. It doesn't take a genius to realise he's not just an arsehole when he's playing snooker - the guy is an arsehole generally.
