A black man is blown away by how society operates outside of ‘the hood.’ I’ve lived in the hood. I’ve lived in the projects. I’ve lived in prisons, homeless shelters, etc. I moved out of the city two decades ago and never looked back. Best decision I ever made. What you are seeing is not necessarily a ‘white folk’ thing. But rather a ‘small town’ thing. This is what the opposite of ‘urban decay’ looks like. My community mirrors this and we have a lot of blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc. Matter of fact, the ‘black area’ in my town I consider the safest and friendliest. 🤷🏻‍♂️ The predominantly white trailer park in my town, is not. You gotta get out of the city, my brother. Start a GoFundMe, reach out, I’ll share it. Fuck it. Spread your wings and fly. 😎

Ireland’s cultural brain rot is now official state policy, and Kneecap are just Culture Decay with a soundtrack. This is who the President of Ireland was proudly greeting in Phoenix Park, a band whose entire public identity is built on glorifying drug use, selling pills, popping cocaine, sneering at police, celebrating antisocial chaos and wrapping it all in “rebellion” cosplay. But the body remembers. The truth is, both can be true. You can despise the decay and pain that has been unleashed upon you without guilt and honour your own suffering, your own journey - at the same time, you can acknowledge how your parents came to be as they are, through the weight of their own unhealed and unresolved pain. Similarly, those who feel immense resentment and hate towards their parents often find, in the quiet moments before they fall asleep, that a part of them still longs to connect - a subtle whisper of desire always remains, because they carry hope. Hate is just corroded love, it is not indifference. It is love unresolved and suspended, pooled like still water. The most heartbreaking part is that they feel disgust, sometimes even hatred, towards themselves for wanting this. Yet no matter how much they rationalise, a part of them will always long for it. And it is okay to want this. It does not make them weak or pathetic. The polarity must be felt in full, and then accepted in its entirety, on both ends. The greatest wars are not fought between angels and demons, but in the hearts of those who carry the deepest wounds.

It's scary because no matter how hard they try to erase the contributions of Graff Writers, DJs, Rappers, and Breakers who contributed to the formative years of Hip-Hop when it initially began flourishing, none of them can just erase what I know took place from the records like it never happened. Yet, I've been witnessing the deletion of important Hip-Hop history for the last two years. Zoomers are being re-educated to hate the diversity in talent and "race" that makes Hip-Hop remotely the culture I've been studying, NON-STOP, since 1979. Forty-five years of collecting park jam tapes, battling B-boys from all over NYC at USA Rollerskating Rink (69th Street and Roosevelt Avenue), writing Graffiti, Rapping, and, of course, DJing have made me wonder if the ideas I have been fed about Hip-Hop being "universal" have survived today. I think not because some of our legends are rewriting HIp-Hop history to their liking. At the rate we're going, I firmly believe the genuine, authentic concept of Hip-Hop is bound to disappear, and I won't mourn its death. Just a quick one about slugs and snails, as it's still a common question (due to some recently published misinformation). Slugs and snails are the intermediate host of lungworm, so can pass this fatal parasite to any mammal that is unfortunate enough to be forced by starvation to eat them, or is contaminated by their slime trail. This includes hedgehogs - they don't have any magical protection properties. But slugs and snails are also our heros, here's why: As well as providing food for many amphibians, reptiles and birds, they protect us humans from all sorts of potentially fatal pathogens. Take bird poo for example. Birds don't wee. Any water they consume is used and absorbed by their body. This means they don't have to have a bladder, so they are lighter for flying. Instead of wee they pass pure uric acid paste with their poo (that's the white bit on top), and so their poo is water resistent. (Anyone who has tried to clean it off their car is painfully aware of this) So if it's water resistent, therefore the rain can't wash it away, why aren't we all knee deep in bird poo? Amazed that people can be so cavalier about the white British becoming a minority by the 2060s The consequences are profound If Britain's only 30% white British will it still be Britain? How can the integration of immigrants be achieved when the indigenous population is itself an ethnic minority? What will the dominant culture be for popular music, film, comedy, sport etc. – the things that traditionally bind a nation together and which help forge both social cohesion and a sense of national identity? All too often, debates around immigration focus upon the impact on our economy, infrastructure and public services. I would argue that the impact this has on our culture and the cohesion of our communities and wider British society is even more important. A country's economy, infrastructure and public services can always bounce back from hard times and extreme pressures. But when the demographics of a nation drastically & dramatically alter - relegating the indigenous population to the status of a minority - the cultural and social change is so profound, that it will be impossible to recover or restore. Demographics matter. All of the sociological and economic evidence shows that increased ethnic diversity leads to a decline in social trust, happiness and perceived quality of life. People from areas of high diversity are less likely to become involved in their community, less likely to vote, or to volunteer or join community organisations. They become reclusive, have fewer friends and have low trust in their neighbours. This has a corrosive effect on local communities. The decline in social trust leads to lack of civic pride and maintenance, and a rise in crime, vandalism and general decay. When a society doesn’t have much in common, it’s much less likely that they will feel united and invested in one another. Does anyone seriously believe Britain or the USA are more culturally intact, socially cohesive and harmonious than ethnically homogeneous Poland or Japan? Clip from my speech on this subject:

In a shocking violation of privacy and basic human dignity, she was secretly filmed inside the washroom of the establishment. What was once a trusted household name has now become a site of trauma and betrayal. What followed was nothing short of a nightmare. The matter quickly escalated, involving the local police, and soon, disturbing confessions began to surface revealing not only the presence of hidden cameras but also the systematic abuse of customer trust. Tommy is more alert than most people because he regularly gets threatened by people who disagree with him. I see that the regime media are reporting that Tommy has fled the jurisdiction, but that’s not true. It is true that Tommy later left the UK, but it was for pre-scheduled meetings, including international media interviews. He’s not fleeing, he already reported the incident to the police, and he has never in his life tried to evade authorities. You’ll remember, just last year he voluntarily flew from Spain to London, to present himself to the court, even though he knew he would be sent to jail.
