Mauritius has budgeted to receive payment for Labour’s Chagos surrender. Not a single penny of British taxpayers’ money should be going to Mauritius for Labour’s failings.

Especially when Patel would rather send that money to Israel.

Giving up the Chagos Islands was a Tory conceit started in 2022 with 11 rounds of talks held by Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, with a nascent agreement handed on to Labour, after your humiliation at the polls in 2024, to enact you wicked old Witch!

Starmer has obviously got the £30+ billion for Mauritus, he should give all that money to the Armed forces, at the very least.

Sounds a bit like the £400m you lot gave to Rwanda to house about zero people.

The money that Mauritius would have received from the Chagos surrender would have been the same as most foreign aid, i.e, money being taken from poor taxpayers in the UK & given to corrupt, rich politicians & bureaucrats in Mauritius (& to their wealthy barristers in the UK).
