Do you really own your Fortnite skins? Unfortunately the answer is NO! With the announcement of Playstation taking away discs and going full digital this got me thinking about this. I'm concerned for our future. Are you? Should I start collecting physical media again? How's your collection?

Like a majority of its audience, I don't care if PlayStation supports physical media. Rather, the question is: How will Sony improve and solidify its digital presence? From ownership to accessibility to security, fixing PSN is the whole ballgame. Here, Sony simply -must- act.

Asmongold says people are chasing the placebo of physical media instead of fighting for digital ownership "The reason why I'm frustrated is that I think people are chasing a placebo effect. They're chasing the concept of physical media instead of chasing the idea of digital ownership in totality." "I don't like the idea that whenever you buy a digital game, you forfeit consumer rights. On a foundational level, that's the wrong way to look at things." "What we need to be doing is looking at legislative and legal solutions for these problems rather than complaining to Sony because they're not selling us Grand Theft Auto on a CD."
