While modern revisionists try to act like The Game was destined for greatness from day one, he was just a haughty, fluffy character with a big head of hair. He was Joe Nobody while actual legends were doing the heavy lifting. The real tragedy of the business is how Dustin Rhodes was handled. Dustin was a legitimate, top tier worker who could go bell to bell, yet he was pushed aside for gimmicks. Cornette drops the hard truth that Dustin was a natural talent, while the future boss was just playing dress up.
