Maybe he shouldn’t have created earthquakes. That would have really helped in not letting people suffer.

Earthquakes are a sign from the signs of Allah which contain a divine message, the greatest message is: Warning; that He who shook the earth is more powerful to shake those who are above it, Allah said: {We only send the signs as a Warning} [17:59]
