I'm seeing a lot of people saying it is just a bad upscaling instead of Gen AI, but it is indeed Gen AI animation. There are things going on in it that just don't make any sense for puppet animation. Here are some parts that make it clear, I slowed down the video so it's easier to notice the chunky parts. I checked the past ADs and it's possible to notice details (from an animator's POV) that are common and make sense for human work, so it was definitely a choice to use AI on this new AD

JUST IN | A portion of a century-old clock tower building collapsed at Kerala's Kozhikode railway station, breaking apart and causing debris to fall onto Platform 2 and Track 3 on Thursday forenoon. No injuries or casualties have been reported. Although there were people on the platform, a major disaster was narrowly avoided as no one was directly underneath the structure when it gave way. It’s not out of the question for #erin But I see a lot of folks posting “maximum” wave heights - likely for clicks - but the right metric is significant wave heights because the 100 ft waves will be rogue not common. Now, Hurricane Dorian did cause a rogue wave off New Foundland measured at 100ft in 2019, likely the “reliable”record for largest wave, but there have been many “reports” of waves nearly that big or bigger. Erin’s significant wave height (pictured here) is forecast to be 60 ft. That means most waves will be in that range near the core. But typically there are rogue waves much larger, and indeed the models forecast maximum wave heights around 100 ft. Will it happen. Yes, probably when it gets north in its extratropical transition. Will we get a record of it? Not likely. Buoys are sparse along the track. #Hurricaneerin #hurricane
