Stockfish is a chess program that is so good at chess that it will easily beat Magnus Carlsen, or anyone, even while running on a small computer. I suspect you could probably run Stockfish on your phone and beat Magnus Carlsen. That’s how good it is at chess, and that’s how good AI will be at writing software. And that applies to everything.”

Listen if you are a seller/flipper/business person in this hobby then don't be mad if a collector is just happy at staring at their cards all day...😂 Their price is their price and that’s ok 👌 The people that need a talking to are the fellow sellers/flippers/ business people who want to sell at 110% and buy at 75-80% ... I get it we all got to make our monies but if the ground rules are set at a table say best of luck and move on... there are plenty of people willing to work with you out there.

Sam on Kimi, distillation, and open source: “I have always assumed that there are going to be great cheap models in the world, and we better be the greatest and the cheapest. You get a better deal today, at least at a particular latency, using OpenAI's models than Kimi. We distill our own models. That’s how we make smaller, cheaper models. That’s a very good thing to do. There will clearly be an important place for open source models in the world and people that will want their own weights. We have so much usage of our models that we do not need to be a gigantically high-margin business to be able to afford model training. I would rather people not distill from us, for sure. But this is not in my top ten list of worries.”

Dan & Sam Houser are/were simultaneously the reason why working at Rockstar can be very hard but also why all their games are very good. They care on a level, most leaders do not. Sam Houser in particular will sit and play the games over and over and has thrown the controller on occasions where a Rockstar game isn't up to the Rockstar standard.

7 points is better than 6 but nearly as good as 9. I think the player we missed most was actually on the pitch, the difference Timber and a very tired looking Ben White at right back is huge. I would have put on Havertz at the end just to shake things up.
