It's sad Burke was forced to remind our bumbling mayor the broad range of crimes her office prosecutes every day. Burke specifically cited domestic violence, child sex trafficking, and murder. Does Mayor Brandon Johnson honestly think not prosecuting these crimes would make Chicago safer? We believe he does. The mayor should be grateful for Burke: Unlike her predecessor, the comically incompetent Kim Foxx, Burke is actually prosecuting crime. While Johnson continues to insist his "housing" policies have driven down crime rates, it is Burke prosecuting criminals which has led to safer streets.
