McDonald’s in 1984 What do you notice?

The ice cream machine was actually working.

IDK, you tell me the difference...

Fun fact:

When McDonald's had N64s in them, that was the peak of humanity

Low prices, politeness, no obesity. As an aside, it is fascinating that so many videos like this that were pretty unimportant in their day are winding up on social media. Such a treasure trove of "how things used to be" for current and future generations.

McDonald's 1990 menu prices. Styrofoam packaging vs todays paper or cardboard. Customers were civil, there weren't people throwing things at the staff if they got their order wrong. Young people were working fast food jobs, not the 40+ crowd that we often see today.

America used to be normal and classy.

1984 McDonald’s before its Ghettoficiation was like ChikfilA today: nice, courteous employees serving decent fast food.

Used to be great PART TIME job for white teens in High School. Now it's a FULL TIME job for minorities and older people who demand HIGHER wages to live on. It was never supposed to be a living wage.

Why was everyone so slim back in the 80’s 👀😅
