The lack of 'diversity' seems to equate to a peaceful environment ...

Efficient transportation of people living in harmony. No enemies within. No assertive minorities being brash and offensive. I can imagine that it smells as clean as it looks.

When I lived in Japan, it was just purely peaceful and respectful. For the most part, everyone is aware of their surroundings and take care to watch for eachother. Virtually no fighting of any kind, it’s extremely clean, the food is amazing, and the culture is amazing. I love the United States but she has some serious issues right now.

More peacefully, at least on a Japanese train, you don't have to worry about being beaten or witnessing some disturbing scenario.

No diversity, one culture, all the people identify with each, share respect, morals, and social expectations
