Mandera water crisis: Sh Abdirashid's emotional khutbah in Elwak yesterday on the severe water crisis in Mandera county. Very painful situation in several parts of the county. The county leadership accused by the Sheikh of wasting public resources on political tours when people are suffering. Urges all wellwishers to assist in the crisis. The weeping Sheikh stopped short of cursing the county leadership for neglecting the residents. I suggest the County Assembly convenes urgently to reallocate funding to address the water crisis. Water bowsers hired by the county also reportedly charging the poor residents, according to the Sheikh. The County administration should use the enforcement officers to ensure this practice is stopped.

Mandera County Government: It's sad to see poor women who carry out sanitation and environment work in Mandera town complain about non-payment of their stipends for five months. This is unacceptable. A shame on the conscience of the administration. Their pay is meagre & can be paid at the time it is due. County bosses are apparently in Holland to receive a prize for urban greening, made possible by these poor women!

One of the best proofs, that 9/11 wasn't a structural failure (collapse), or a controlled demolition, using any thermal or kinetic mechanisms, are the 16 survivors in stairwell B of the North Tower. 16 Survivors (“9/11 surfer” included) - 110 stories, equal to 10 Titanic’s in weight, stacked on top of one another. $MANDERA COUNTY GOVERNMENT SHAME! December 2025. Banissa town. Subcounty Hqtrs. It's surface water pan, currently the only source of water to the subcounty hqs, in pathetic condition. 62 years after independence. 13 years into devolution. After Sh 150 billion spent by the County Government. And sh 6 billion allocated to water in the past 3 years of this clueless, pityless county administration. And in the backyard of the current Governor! The least they are asking for is the protection of the pan so that there is no contamination. It's not asking too much. The Governor spent millions on a chopper in the subcounty campagins last month. This week, he’s spending millions to move the Jamhuri Day celebrations from County Headquarters Mandera town to Elwak town to massage his ego. In the past month, he reportedly paid 20 bloggers sh 100K each to highlight his reports marking 3 years in office. Sadly, a fraction of this money would secure this water pan from pollution. A few months ago, a borehole was drilled 4 kms away. The priority should be to equip it & pipe the water to the town. When priorities are misplaced, our folks suffer and the dudes in office don’t feel it. Waa musiibaqutayaal! . May Allah ease the hardships of our folks.$
