Launch table is out. The two-million-pound launch table is heading to the Integration Facility for inspection and adjustments to support our future ConOps. Once reinstalled at the pad, it'll be outfitted with the first stage aft umbilicals and tied into the water system, which delivers water injection just below the engine nozzles.

Building nuclear means advancing multiple pieces of work at once, and Oklo has been busy. Over the past year, we moved from planning to execution: construction began Idaho National Lab for Aurora-INL in Idaho, key partners like Kiewit and Siemens Energy were locked in, fuel milestones were cleared, a fuel recycling facility was unveiled in Tennessee, and advanced our Radioisotopes Pilot Facility in Texas. Blue Origin’s pad is still burning. The Horizontal Integration Facility (HIF) building was significantly impacted. It likely held two second stages, and at one other first stage booster. The cast iron Cape Canaveral Lighthouse ( c.1868), which is VERY close, is still active!

Monday morning, Blue Origin held a ground breaking ceremony on the site of their new Payload Processing Facility at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (Space Launch Delta 45). The 120,000-square-foot building is slated to open in early 2028 and can support 16 missions annually for a mix of national security, civil and commercial payloads.

We're not rebuilding the same pad for New Glenn. We're moving to a horizontal/vertical hybrid configuration to get us flying again this year at 36A. We were already working on something similar for 9x4 at 36B. Let me explain what that means. We mate the stages horizontally in the Integration Facility (IF). Then we bring the integrated vehicle out to the pad, use a crane to perform the vertical breakover, and mate the payload once New Glenn is vertical. This new ConOps has the added benefit of increasing our flight cadence as well.

#SpaceX is preparing to move the massive new #Starship launch mount structure for #Starbase Pad B to the launch site for installation. In this post, I’ll give an overview of the design and use my 3D models to calculate the structure’s mass in its current configuration. This new launch mount, nearly an entire redesign, is SpaceX’s best effort at correcting many of the issues discovered with the mount at Pad A after a handful of launches. The only similarity between this mount and the original launch mount for Pad A is that 20 arms will still be used to support the #SuperHeavy booster before liftoff. However, the arms and everything else making up the structure are entirely different.

The Optimus Factory at Giga Texas continues to see quick installation and assembly of steel on the growing superstructure, now 8 column grids “long” and nearly as wide as the final perimeter grade beam. GeoPier work on the south end continues as the prerequisite for footing construction. Footings are nearly complete not eh entire north end and on the south end, the foundation is reaching into the newly reclaimed land, which will further lengthen the building, inching closer to the Central Campus Support group of facilities which includes the Battery Cathode, Die Shop and Cortex 2 facilities.
