Wow. This is quite impressive. I remember experiencing something similar. Although I wasn't sick but I lost so much weight due to financial hardship induced by unwise Financial decisions. This happened a few years ago, And I picked up an important lesson from this. Which is. You can bounce back from anything, be it sickness, failure, loss of properties, loss of family, I don't care to know the name of what you have lost, so long as you can find determination and ready to put in the work, you can come back better and stronger. This is my encouragement to someone who feels like there's no way out of what ever mess you are in right now. My proposal for enhancing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) experience: 1. Extend the orientation camp: From 3 weeks to 3 months, to provide ample time for corps members to acquire essential skills. 2. Comprehensive training: Include military skills and self-development training to equip corps members with a broad range of abilities. 3. Enhanced allowance: Provide corps members with a lump sum payment equivalent to three times their annual allowance, to support their transition into the workforce. 4. Structured transition program: Establish a system that effectively prepares corps members for the economic market, including mentorship, job placement services, and entrepreneurship support. 5. Empowered release: Upon completion of the program, release corps members into the workforce, equipped with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to succeed.
